The home is razed and the owner arrested on whatever convenient charges are imagined by the IDF commander. After the ex-homeowner sits in jail for a few weeks, his trial occurs and he is released because he didn't do anything and there is no evidence of any crime.

He is not reimbursed for his home, he cannot replace his lost personal items, and he has to find someone who will take in his family.
