Why do we have no info on these rescued pilots?

Why did it take 155 aircraft and hundreds of supposedly spec ops troops?

Seriously, normally after something like this we'd have rose garden ceremonies and interviews and book/movie deals all cooking at once, but not a peep.

So why?

Because that's not what it was, that's why.

Iran claims it was an attempt to seize their stored uranium, but I ain't buying that crap either. This was never about uranium or nukes.

This was an attempt to secure a forward operating base. An attempt that failed miserably.

They didn't just land in some random clearing, this was an abandoned Iranian airfield, an ideal location for an FOB. Intact runways are important if you're gonna be supplying a ground war and it's much easier to grab a disused one than build a new facility.

These supposedly scuttled planes landed on said runway, not some random field, making the "stuck in the sand" excuse look pretty flimsy. And those are heavy lift aircraft, designed to haul vehicles, fuel tanks, and whole platoons of Rangers or other spec ops troops.

They weren't stuck in the mud, they were pinned down by enemy fire. Those birds are designed for rough field landings and they were on an airstrip, so getting stuck is unlikely to the point of ridiculousness.

The IRG responded faster than anticipated (the tRumplings running this war have consistently underestimated them) and pinned them down.

And then the timing of this "ceasefire" and all the confusion over what the terms are strongly suggest this "daring rescue" was instead a catastrophic military blunder that forced a diplomatic retreat.

And this "ghost murmur" bullshit?

Pull the other one, guys, it's got bells on.

In the middle of all this nonsense I hope that if there really were any downed pilots they were actually rescued and not just ignored for expediency.

Why is the family of the Col who is said to have been rescued say that they have heard not a word from him?

Hmm, interesting points.

I dont know.....but I have seen reports that his family was contacted by DOD and told to not talk to the press for the good of America.

They are talking anyways.
OK, scutllebutt says the reporters contacted all known bases that have F15Es and asked but were told ALL the families of ALL the pilots had been put under NDAs or removed to "secure locations". So they don't know who his family is, but all of them have been silenced.

tRump does so love the medal and such, seems pretty out of character to miss this opputunity.
Plus the whole story makes no sense......I have been told that the pilot was something like 200km from the landing zone, and that the Iranians destroyed the operation mear minutes after the landing.....those copters never went anywhere.

Keeping in mind that exactly what happened is not completely nailed down.

Do we know who his family is? I've heard complete silence on the ID front.
No, but I did read he was wounded. How severe is unknown. As for the other pilot, no pilot wants to be recognized for being shot down. It's not the heroism they aspire towards. LOL

While it's possible that Trump and DUI Pete wanted to secretly put boots on the ground, that's a red line even the MAGAts dislike.

58 years old, wounded, and climbed 7,000 feet?

Nah bro.

Sorry but no.

Climbed? Who says that wasn't where he landed? Besides, it's not the height but the gradient. The adrenaline rush of avoiding capture would certainly motivate him. I still ran 5 miles until I was 60.

Yeah you did, coward

The information is that he climbed 7000 feet in rugged terrain with a sprained ankle and other injuries, That's the info they released.

You'll die a jealous old man-child, Arbie. That's your legacy, son. You'll be gone but your rage posts will remain for everyone to ridicule. It's a sad legacy, but it fits you.

What does your supposed "girlfriend" see in your? Your weakness? Your jealousy of other men? Acting like a man-child in your 60s? If she's real, she should dump you or simply let you OD and keep the trailer for herself.

That would be a tough hike, but not impossible. OTOH, I don't trust a word that comes out of the Trump administration without independent corroboration.

Jealous of who? Surely not a simple minded lying coward like you. I couldn't care less about my "legacy," being your opinion of it.

My GF (who is a Democrat) sees my charm, wisdom, compassion, strive for perfection in what I do and my respect. You wouldn't understand.

Trailer? LOL! I live much better than you in a nice home on 3 lots and have a $100,000 hot rod. The only trailer I have hitches to my tractor.

Wow. What an active imagination you have, son. I'm debating whether this girlfriend is a blow up doll or your mom since I doubt any intelligent woman would hang around an elderly man-child like you.
