Irans 10 point Plan

Not acceptable.

Iran will have no say over the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran is to not enrich uranium, not even for a power plant.
Sanctions will remain as long as that government remains in power.
The Iran government will get no compensation.
US combat forces will remain. Iran has no say.
There is no one-sided cease fire. Iran cannot call for cease fire and then ignore it.

In other words, nothing less than unconditional surrender.

That list is a starting point.......not how it ends.

Iran must have gone insane or is just grasping at straws. None of that will happen. So, I guess Iran is in for a major ass kicking.

What cards does Iran hold here exactly?
I guess it figures that at some point, Trump would claim all sorts of fantasies about winning in this thing...and that the MAGA morons would indicate they think he is correct.

Yeah, our Republic is in danger because of Trump, but it is as much because of the fact that the MAGA morons support him. They are as pathetic as he.

I know this 'war' is ours to win or lose. Iran has ZERO say in the outcome. If we want to grind Iran into the dust and slag the whole country into glass, we can do it. If we decide to let up and negotiate, it's pretty much one-sided. Iran doesn't get much, if any, say in the terms.

The problem usually is we, the US, don't have the patience, commitment, or balls to carry through on these things. Instead, we compromise and weasel through them.

It is my opinion that you are under-estimating Iran and their "position" as much as Trump did. Iran almost certainly cannot defeat us in battle, but that is not always the way one wins. I suspect Iran is going to come out of this in better shape than you do. I may be wrong. We'll see.

Iran has no cards to play. Their position is one of being a punching bag and little more. If it were me, their power generation systems would already be in ruins. Every government building would have been flattened. Harbors would have been carpet bombed into rubble with everything bigger than a rubber raft sunk. Systematic destruction of the whole country's infrastructure. Any road leading into Iran from neighboring countries would have had every bridge blown down and the road cratered like the moon. Any factory making anything, flattened. Every dam in the country will be breeched. No half measures. We will completely wreck your economy and military.

No half measures. Wreck the whole country end to end. Make it clear that any "negotiations" are going to be us dictating terms and them groveling to agree to them. Here's what our terms should be.

1. You will disband entirely the IRGC. All arms, uniforms, and munitions will be turned over for disposal.
2. You will hand over every last gram of enriched uranium you have and we'll compensate that at 90% of market value.
3. We will enter any facility we want to and will dispose of any equipment in those facilities as we deem necessary.
4. You will no longer fund Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthi, etc. All accounts for that purpose will be defunded and the money returned to the new government.
5. The new government will be secular in nature. Islamic law will end entirely.
6. Iran will be a secular state. Islam will be one of many religions the population can choose.
7. Iran will no longer deal with N. Korea. Deals with Cuba, Russia, China, will require UN and US approval.
8. Inspections of any and all facilities within Iran will occur as needed and without notice to ensure compliance.
9. The Ayatollahs will have zero political power and no religious control of the country.
10. This list can be added to at any time by us as we see fit to make sure your country isn't being an asshole to anyone.

Until you agree, the relentless bombardment will continue.

No fantasy, Doofan. Trump is winning, even though you hate that.
MAGA is not a person, Doofan.
Yeah, our Republic is in danger because of Trump, but it is as much because of the fact that the MAGA morons support him. They are as pathetic as he.
You can't blame Democrats on Trump, Doofan. Inversion fallacy.

I suppose you believe the Moon landing was fake too.

Oh, Trump should formally designate the territory of Iran as the Joseph R. Biden Bombing Range as it is now target practice for our pilots to train under realistic conditions on a variety of targets.

Okay, we strongly disagree.

This sounds like a heavy-weight boxing champ fighting a kindergarten kid...and demanding that the kid agree to all sorts of terms in order to stop the boxer from pummeling him.

We obviously have a different opinion about how we treat others.

Okay, we strongly disagree.
Having schizophrenic issues again, Doofan? You are only one person.

Why do you support brutal dictators and terrorists?

Grade schooler. But otherwise pretty much. That's how you fight wars. War is not about fair or just. There is no referee, and the rules are subject to change at any time, assuming there are any. It's about win or lose. We shouldn't be looking to give Iran a "fair deal." We should be pummeling them into submission and then dictating terms.

Afterwards, we can be magnanimous and gracious victors, but we need to make sure Iran understands we're voluntarily doing that and can go back to beating them senseless if they don't behave.

Grade schooler.

If you want to think of me as a grade schooler...fine with me.

But otherwise pretty much.
A grade schooler would have done a better job of composing that sentence.

Okay, so you have to defend the Asshole-in-Chief. Great. So...you have no self-respect...and that is your right.

Pummel away...with your heroic commander of the military.
Afterwards, we can be magnanimous and gracious victors, but we need to make sure Iran understands we're voluntarily doing that and can go back to beating them senseless if they don't behave.

He's rubbing off on you. Too bad for you.

As I said, "We obviously have a different opinion about how we treat others." And I do have self-respect.

Give it a try, TA. You might like it.

If you want to think of me as a grade schooler...fine with me.

Well, that wasn't my point. I was changing your use of "kindergartner" to grade schooler, but that you picked up on that as a personal comparison shows you probably are.
A grade schooler would have done a better job of composing that sentence.

That sentence played off the opening comment--which wasn't a sentence per se.
Okay, so you have to defend the Asshole-in-Chief. Great. So...you have no self-respect...and that is your right.

I'm not defending Trump here. I'm going with historical commentary by military experts like:

Or Clausewitz:

No, he's not. You're an idiot who apparently thinks war is just a noisy debate.

You are a weak man, if a man at all.

That list is a starting point.......not how it ends.
It is going to get worse? I certainly hope you are wrong.

What cards does Iran hold here exactly?
Control over the Strait of Hormuz.

Ships are now slipping past their blockade too and my bet is that will increase in the next week or two substantially.
Why would ships intentionally enter Iranian waters and submit to Iranian control, if they were slipping past the Iranians?

Here's what our terms should be.
And yet trump is unwilling to even try?
