dr laura's racial rant on live air

Because the LD's are not the ones who are preceved to be against the black people in the frist place.

I am happy Dr. Laura got called out.

I wish the others would get called out also, but one being called out is better than none!
The key word: perceived. Most folks are ignorant on who the real racists are, and that's you liberal's excuse.

ITs not an excuse, its just fact. And I used the word perceived intentionally, for the reason you mentioned.

Yes, the liberal teacher's union and the liberal press has done a great job re-educating the county into their version of history. The truth, however, is very different, with the Democrat Party being systematically racist.

Thats a matter of opinion, but to me there certantly are racist elements in both parties.

Actually its not opinion but fact. The GOP sponsored five Civil Rights bills between 1868 and 1964, and the Democrats fought against each of them. The Democrat Party is a racist organization.

You are saying that due to something they did in 1964 they are racist now....

I'm in an interracial marriage and an old has been washed up old drunk rock singer, Eddie Money, made a racial comment to my wife while at the hotel she manages and I had to be physically restrained from kicking his ass. You should of seen the look in his face when i said "Hey mother fucker that's my wife your talking to!". I just happened to be at the hotel to pick her up from her shift and was sitting in a chair nearby so he had no idea I was her husband until he made his comment and I got pissed. I thought he was going to shit himself. I started walking towards him and was restrained by one of his roadies and two bystanders. If they hadn't of I'd of kicked his ass right there on the spot and it was pretty obvious that was my intention. I was furious. I was going to call a local rock station and tell them what happened but my wife talked me out of it. Didn't want that kind of publicity for her Hotel.

Nice! I totally relate to your rage, brotha!

Jesus, Eddie Money? Isn't he old enough to be on oxygen and dementia medication? I totally concur that's its your duty to knock the teeth out of some moron who makes racial comments to the wife,, but I can't condone you beating up some old guy in a wheel chair!

Here was a man who was clearly racist, held racist viewpoints for many years, was a high-ranking member of the Ku Klux Klan, routinely threw out the "N-word", and seemingly never got one shred of criticism from the left for it. Contrast that with a conservative radio talk show host who is trying to make a very valid and legitimate point, being called on the carpet for "a racist rant" as DQ put it. Nothing she said was denigrating toward blacks, it wasn't a "racist" remark, she did not espouse a "racist" viewpoint, she merely raised a legitimate question... why is it okay for black men on HBO to use a word, yet "racist" for a white person to use the same word... IN ANY CONTEXT?

Can you say: Ugly, freckled, & pink bloated HYPOCRITES????

I'll betcha' can

He was being a drunk ass hole. He had the day off and had ben golfing and drinking all day and was drunk. He came into the hotel and was flirting with the front desk clerk who was a fat white chick (nice gal actually but gawd awfull homely). Mr. Money was saying shit at the front desk with other guests around like "Hey come back to my room and I'll lick your pussy!". About the third time he said something vulgar like that, with other guest near by, my wife did her job and said "Sir, I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't use that kind of langauge here." and he looked her in the eye and said "and you don't need to be interupting white peoples conversations."

Whoops! Game on! He had a righteously pissed husband on his hands and was lucky I didn't put his tired old has been ass in a wheel chair.

Probably because Byrd left the Klan and denounced them decades ago before any of us were born, or before we were adults. You can time travel through ancient dixiecrat history if you must, but is this Byrd stuff all you have? The dude's not even alive anymore.

I've seen you make this point frequently and routinely. Is there some reason it stresses you out that white people can't say the N-word?

that's a far cry from the exchange with Dr Laura, but a mighty impressive tale of your machismo....:eek2::woot::eek2:

The point is that just because some guy on HBO says it does not make it okay.

The traction you guys get out of Byrd is amazing...
it's a prime example of liberal hypocrisy.

And why should the caller's husband have to defend his wife from the neighbor's insults? If she finds the person offensive, speak up and tell them yourself. Why must someone else always come to the minority defense? there's no imbalance of power. She's the home owner. Speak up! Tell that racist to STFU in your home. If that causes problems with your husband, maybe you two are not meant to be together. It's certainly true if she expects him to solve her daily racial problems for her and he's not aware this is his role in her mind.

Ehhh you lack the basic frame of reference and testosterone (mainly the testosterone) to understand why I war ready to kick some ass. I'd take a bullet for my woman. Preferably from someone other than her! :)

Ah, but Byrd was a racist for the better part of his life, at least into his 50s. It just seems a bit strange to me, a democrat can be born and raised a racist, head the KKK, and continue to hold racist views until he's practically a senior citizen, then all of a sudden, by the grace of Liberalism, he is cleansed and made whole. If you people had a tape of Rush Limbaugh saying "nigger" when he was 21, that's all we would hear about non-stop until he was fired. So there is a double standard applied, and I've never been too hot about double standards.

I've seen you make this point frequently and routinely. Is there some reason it stresses you out that white people can't say the N-word?

I am not the least bit "stressed" about it. White people CAN say the word, Dr. Laura proved it. What bothers me is fuckwits like you, who think it's perfectly okay for democrat liberals to be as racially insensitive as they like, while holding the rest of society to a different standard.

You're right about me, except that I'm more naturally inclined to be PC than you'd think.

The rest of that was all bullshit. Ghetto slang doesn't even concern either one of us...

Ghetto slang effects all of us if it is protected speech for only one race and not for another.

Never got a "shred of criticism from the left?"

Sure, Reb.

He was one guy. That was my point; it's funny that every time, over the course of years, whenever the right needs an example of a Democrat racist - it's Byrd.

Can't think of anyone else?

George Wallace & Lester Maddox

....the list continues to grow!

This is just too funny... It's like a German saying... Hey, why do you people always mention Hitler as your example of horrible German dictators... Kaiser Wilhelm was just as bad!

people like you continue racism in this country

the point she was making (which she always makes) is - toughen up. i used to listen to her in college on hot summer jobs and we would all bust up over the harsh advice she gave people. no different here. but sensitive pansy's like yourself are all offended a white woman used the term nigger....yet, you have no problem with blacks use the term.

and, she did not use the term in a racist manner. but of course, she is a white woman and automatically a racist to you cypress.
You are not really this fucking dense. The word nigger has been used negatively and violently by whites for over 100 years. Signs used to put up in southern towns saying "Nigger don't let the sun set on your black ass in this town." Restraunts had signs that said "No Niggers". Whites that used the word "nigger" did this:

lynchings.gif

It has a connotation of hatred just like the word queer does when it comes from the mouths of people that used it with hate for decades. It is one of the few words that white people can't say of the thousands of words in the english language. It means something completely different coming out the mouth of a black person and only a complete dolt does not see the difference, and wants to whine they can't say it.

Especially when it's taken out of the ghetto and broadcast on MTV and HBO!

The fact of the matter is, it's either never offensive or always offensive...this ridiculous PC dance of "he can say it" "he can't" is grade school idiocy!

Laura's broadcast framed the idiocy well.
