US gas hits $4 as Trump tells nations to get their own oil

Wish I could find $4 gas here. Paid over $6 for diesel yesterday. Hope this shit winds down fast or November will be a blood bath for the right. Americans sadly are that simple minded.

it is open as a toll road being controlled by Iran
How is Iran "controlling" it, exactly? With empty words?
and if you are a nation friendly with Iran or willing to pay the Oil Toll they are demanding they allow you pass thru.
"oil toll" :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:
TOO FUNNY!!!
Who in their right mind would actually pay Iran an "oil toll"?
That is new power and significant one Trump gave Iran that gives them more leverage over the world than they had prior to his war.
:rofl2: :rofl2: WTF are you smoking, dude... The Ayatollah's regime is in SHAMBLES. They have no leverage over "the world", let alone the USA.

Australia and some EU countries are currently having supply issues, though, but that's all because of their deliberate choices over the years due to their stupid "Climate goddess" and "Russia Russia Russia!" religions.

You must live in a state that taxes the ever loving PISS out of it then. Diesel around my neck of the woods is currently running around $4.50/gallon.
Hope this shit winds down fast
It will. Remember, it's only been a month. I expect it to last another 2-4 weeks and then be over with. Gas and diesel prices will start coming down again after that.

It'll be fine. I wouldn't be surprised if the Donkeys get a majority in the House (they SHOULDN'T though, if Team Elephant weren't controlled opposition, but it is what it is). The Elephants should retain a majority in the Senate, though, and that's the more important one.
Americans sadly are that simple minded.
True. They've already forgotten just how high gas prices spiked in 2022, and just how high gas prices were on average from early 2021-early 2024. They also forget that non-Trump wars and military operations would commonly last for YEARS instead of a handful of days/weeks.

Get off magat media you babbling idiot and read something else. Even Trump is not denying this and is instead telling the countries and shippers to just be brave and go through and just accept any losses you suffer.

"...As of late March and early April 2026, Iran has effectively established de facto control over the Strait of Hormuz, acting as a gatekeeper for the vital waterway. Following tensions with the US and Israel, Iranian forces are selectively allowing transit, charging fees, and restricting vessels deemed "hostile," creating a significant, ongoing disruption to global shipping..."

Also for those only on Magat media...

Iran oil revenue soars as it's the only exporter out of Hormuz

The higher selling price for each barrel is key for Iran, which has suffered major damage from U.S. and Israeli airstrikes

"...As of March 2026, Iran is generating higher revenue from oil sales than it was before the conflict began, benefiting from a surge in oil prices and its position as a major exporter operating through the Strait of Hormuz..."

I have heard that excuse about taxes causing blue state gas prices more but our total tax (It's displayed on the pump) is 56 cents. Assuming these other states have some sort of tax lets say 30 cents the 25 cent higher tax does not explain the 2 dollar a gallon more. There is something else going on here.
