Him and Musk got rid of all the senior advisers who have knowledge of and experience with the ME. He wouldn't have listened to them anyways. Even an international political neophyte like myself can easily see that Iran was not ripe for a secular, democratic style government. They didn't have a democracy before the Ayatollahs, even though they were far freer than than they are now. If the people had wanted that, they would have taken steps to procure it. You can try to force your religion or your political system on others at the point of a sword. But it will never stick unless that's what the people want.

Since it has been closed, our oil and gas prices have soared. That describes a need. The world energy markets are not independent.
So the current situation is that the American president got caught raping little girls. After he overthrew the Venezuelan government and unleashed a force of SS troopers on the American civilian public he launched an illegal war against Iran. The last few of his supporters with any functioning brain cells deserted him as oil prices exploded and Iran told him to go fuck himself while they closed the Strait of Hormuz knowing that he was powerless to reopen it. Then he surrendered the war.
That was fun. Hopefully the voters remember this colossal unforced error, which ties, at a minimum, the Iraq war and Watergate as the biggest presidential mistakes in the lifetimes of anyone living. Trump is the dumbest, worst president in history. Now back to the Epstein files. Or is he going to bomb Cuba in April?
