Trump even joked about escaping the word war with semantics. In doing that, he admitted it i a war, and it belongs to him. He really does not care. Killing Iranian citizens, American soldiers dying, blowing up Iran's infrastructure, and destroying their cities, no big deal, he will not miss a tee off time.
He does not care about anybody else. We are all expendable to him.

I know you do not care about such things but Trump is destroying so much. Now our word means nothing. Treaties can be ignored or ended by whim. Tariff agreements can be changed by Trump's moods. Trump has destroyed the basics of diplomacy and international agreements.
The world has been a safer place since nations can talk and solve problems without strife. The organizations that help keep peace. like NATO and the UN are disdained by Trump. He ridicules them and says he alone will make the big decisions.

For too long, as you point out, we had weak POTUS not willing to police the world, take out the bad men, and take America to war, and spend our treasure and American lives in foreign countries.
