Not a chance. We could eliminate this round of fraud only to find a new round replacing it. It's like playing Whack-A-Mole. The only way to stop the fraud is get government completely, or nearly completely, out of the business(s) of handing out money for things that the fraud is collecting it for. That is, less government = less government fraud. Anything else is a futile effort of tail chasing.

Well I say NO seeing it is the Republicans that run up the debt.
Reagan almost tripled it. Bush doubled it. Yes Obama added 8 Trillion to it getting us out of the deep Recession / almost Depression Bush got us into and in his first term / 4 YEARS / Trump added about 8 Trillion to it and has added another almost 3 Trillion to it in the just over a year he has been back in office.
IT is the Republicans that are running the debt up NOT the Dems.

The Democratic advantage is even larger in private job growth than it is for total job growth. Notably, business investment is higher during Democratic administrations, with investment growth running at more than double the pace than it does during Republican ones.
Average rates of inflation—both overall and “core” measures that exclude volatile food and energy prices—are slightly lower during Democratic administrations.
Families in the bottom 20% of the income distribution experience 188% faster income growth during Democratic administrations.
