please take a refresher course in reading comprehension. Either that or get an adult to explain what I previously wrote, because your revisionist clap trap looks comical in print.
I'll dumb it down for you;
the SAA requires those who don't have a passport or a copy of their birth certificate.to get one for voter registration. THAT takes time,
the TSA requires those who don't have a passport or a copy of their birth certificate.to get one for domestic flights. THAT takes time,
Yet, you don't whine about that. Only for voting in elections do you whine about that. Why?
** Note: I purposely referenced 'birth certificate' for stylistic reasoning, but it's technically a 'real ID' (or similar) that is required, and a birth certificate is required in order to get such an ID (or similar).
and the bill has NOT passed the Senate yet.
The TSA requirements are already in effect.
Yet, you don't whine about that. Only for voting in elections do you whine about that. Why?
Now, look at when the mid-terms take place
Tuesday, November 3rd 2026. (229 days from today)
and find out the turn around time
This varies greatly. It could be as quick as the very same day (for in-person services) or it could take multiple weeks (for mail services). Personally, I would obtain one well in advance of when I would need it, but it doesn't take anywhere near 229 days to obtain one.
and cost to get a birth certificate copy,
This varies by state, but in Wisconsin, it costs $20 for the first copy (+$3 for any additional copies ordered at the same time) plus fees for any additional services provided (such as expedited service).
Passport book = $165 total fees
Passport card = $65 total fees
Passport book + card combo = $195 total fees
Additional service fees may also apply.
It could take a month or two (or possibly longer) to obtain a passport... nowhere near 229 days.
Then get an adult to explain the word disenfranchise. Get cracking, gumby.
What about getting an adult to explain the word 'proactive'?
Get cracking, pokey.
