Forever chemicals on food.

We would all do well to remember that if it wasn't for pesticides there would be starvation on this planet, and also there are no shortage of paranoid and misinformed individuals who just don't understand that.

There are other, less toxic pesticides, but they are more expensive, and we know what that means.

Hilarious! You idiots treat pesticides like they were Plutonium!

ALL plastics break down under UV light, twit.

Now let's talk about a chemical that regularly causes hospitalization and even death, is everywhere in our lakes and rivers, is in every human being on Earth, does not break down even under UV light, corrodes metals, is used on every farm, even organic crops, is used in pesticides and explosives, and is found in cancer.

A less toxic pesticide does not kill pests as well. You WANT toxicity in pesticides. That's their purpose!

Did you know chemicals used to MAKE pesticides are not the chemicals themselves??
Did you know that UV light breaks down ALL plastics?

"Manufactured since the 1940s to make products nonstick, stain-resistant and water-repellent, legacy PFAS have been linked to cancer, obesity, thyroid disease, high cholesterol, decreased fertility, liver damage, hormone disruption and damage to the immune system, according to the US Environmental Protection Agency. Several of these chemicals can cause harm at levels of a billionth of a gram."

I'm 70 so that's a little late to be telling me. :)

"The EWG report found the highest levels of fludioxonil on lemons, at over 1 part per million, followed by peaches, nectarines, pears, plums, blueberries and apricots. In addition, fludioxonil was found on 90% of the tested samples of nectarines, peaches and plums.

“The European Food Safety Authority also considers fludioxonil to be an endocrine-disrupting chemical that has harmed the reproductive system in animals,” said report coauthor Varun Subramaniam, a science analyst at EWG."

Does this explain why all the Georgia Peaches and other Southern white girls aren't having kids at the desired level our President has requested?

The White Nationalists have an agenda but the greed of their forefathers may doom those plans to failure:

In mid-October, the White House unveiled a plan to increase access to in vitro fertilization treatment. President Donald Trump has heralded such initiatives, calling himself “the fertilization president.”...

...The pro-family focus, they say, isn’t just about boosting procreation. Instead, they say, it’s being weaponized to push a conservative agenda that threatens women’s health, reproductive rights, and labor force participation.

Some predict these efforts could deter parenthood and lead to increases in maternal mortality.

“The religious right wants more white Christian babies and is trying to curtail women’s reproductive freedom in order to achieve that aim,” said Marian Starkey, a spokesperson for Population Connection, a nonprofit that promotes population stabilization through increased access to birth control and abortion. “The real danger is the constant whittling down of reproductive rights.”

The White House did not respond to repeated interview requests.

"We had to burn the village in order to save it"?

I truly feel sorry for all the puppies and kittens in the world, but the long-term solution isn't just keep finding homes for them but to neuter their parents before it becomes a problem. Both a short-term solution and a long-term solution.

Like Agent Orange, or both lead and mercury a century before Vietnam, sometimes our society is too smart for its own good. When I was getting zapped once a day for six weeks, I asked the techs questions like tattoos versus patient ages or types of cancer in men. One trend they mentioned to me was that the ages of patients getting treatment was getting younger. No doubt our environment is cancerous. :(

The good news would be finding a cure for cancer.

And, yet, California still lets these be sold...

Miniscule amounts of PFAS versus pseudo-food? I'll take the PFAS...
