@FastLane won't give a coherent response to your question as he cannot as it cannot both be true that the prior strike did Obliterate iran's nuclear program and also that Iran's nuclear program exists and they could arguably make dirty bombs right now.

What our trump troll team is trying to get us to ignore:
-No one knows what the "mission" is in Iran
-No one knows how long we'll be there
-They're talking about sending in ground troops - another quagmire like Bush and Cheneys..
That and the fact trump's war has destroyed our economy and his tax cuts and war spending has blown up our debt.
This is why they're hoping to get the voting suppression act to pass before the mid-terms. Republicans know they've screwed the pooch and are about to lose big!

The US is making one thing abundantly clear to Iran and that is that there is no agreement or deal they can cut with Trump and the US today that they would trust he would not break tomorrow and just order another attack and the only way they will get any security is thru force.
Trump is forcing them to wage a gorilla war to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed and to use that as leverage to cause real pain to the world and then drive terms with the US and others.

Congress doesn't need to. Show me where is tells us so? Congress controls the purse strings. I assume that's what you're talking about. If not I have no idea. Congress can declare or not declare, that politics. The President doesn't need them to declare or not, never has.

Yup. Iran went from a weak ruler, sun-setting to a much younger, more extreme version of him, who saw his entire family killed by the US and may well now be willing to fight to the death, not just of himself but of his nation, as long as they can cause maximum harm to the world.
Iran is being run right now? We haven't even had proof of life from the dead man walking yet. What are you talking about? Who is leading Iran? How? What has the leader told his people?
