Wait, I was assured by leftists that Trump was supposed to be Putin's stooge. How come he's eliminated 2 of Putin's pets (and seems likely to change the Communist regime in Cuba next)?

I guarantee if you check the responses from every country with dictators like those two, they're responses are identical to theirs. But I'm not sure if our enemies are parroting our democrats or if democrats are parroting our enemies. Both seem equally disgusting to me.

China does not depend on Iran for its oil, but Iran has become an important—though not dominant—supplier in China’s broader energy mix. The relationship is best understood as asymmetric: Iran depends heavily on China, while China treats Iranian crude as one component of a diversified import strategy.

Iran will keep selling oil to Iran as long as I Iran wants to buy it.

Iran exports some 1.6 million barrels of oil a day, most of it going to China, where privately owned refineries are less concerned about the U.S. sanctions that prevent Iran from selling its oil elsewhere. If that supply is disrupted, Chinese customers would look elsewhere for oil on the global market, potentially driving up prices.

Another question is around the Strait of Hormuz, through which 20% of global oil supply pass through each day. Middle East exporters Saudi Arabia, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates send most of their exports through the strait. Iran could make the Strait of Hormuz unsafe for commercial traffic, which could spike oil prices above $100 per barrel, according to McNally.

“A prolonged closure of the Strait of Hormuz is a guaranteed global recession,” McNally said.
