There was a Soviet Union and when it collapsed in a bloodless revolt, the country reverted to being called Russia now with a non-Communist government.

Nobody. He's got his hands full with Ukraine. The Russians can't even keep their own forces in the field equipped properly. How are they going to help Iran?

Iran, in and of itself, has no history of guerilla warfare. Since the ayatollahs took over, all they've done is finance other terrorist and revolutionary groups outside of their country. If there is an internal revolt and a new government replaces the ayatollahs, at most it will be an internal conflict. Afghanistan and Iraq are the same way. The conflicts are almost exclusively internal. They aren't exporting terrorism nor revolution.

trump campaigned on no foreign entanglements. Gabbard said she left the Dems because of our interference in foreign affairs. They have no moral center and neither do you.

Another thing: Even Bush went to congress before attacking Iraq, trump didn't even bother. It's so amazing how dickless the Republicans are. How much blood and treasure are you willing to give up just because you hate Democrats?

Most of it can be since the fall of Saddam in Iraq. Saddam used to be the #1 supporter of terrorists and terrorism in the Middle East.
