Lucky? If we hadn't played so conservatively in the 3rd quarter, the score would have been even worse.

No single rusher put up over 100 yards against Texas all year. Bama had TWO players run for over 100 yards. Colt's injury had nothing to do with that.

Well technically you could argue it did. Texas ran a pretty ball control offense under Colt and it helped keep their defense off the field. With Laundry there were quite a few three and outs if I recall and kept the Longhorns defense on the field a lot more than it usually was.

I guess you could make that argument. But our backs were gaining yardage before the defense should have been tired as well.



And while we are on the subject of luck, Texas fans seem to want an asterisk by Bama's championship because of Colt's injury. But if Bradford hadn't been hurt, the chances were very good that Texas wouldn't have been in the Rose Bowl at all.

True that!

But the thing is, Bama sent TWO potential future Hall of Fame QB's to the locker room in TEARS! Not just beat them, but made them cry for their momma! LOL
 
no way bama goes undefeated, Little Nick Napolean's head wouldn't fit on the bus.
They are that good, but some lesser team will trip them up.

It took the spirit of Bear to push on MT Cody's fat ass to get a block to stop Tenn's chip shot field goal to win.
God love's bama but he's not intervining this year.

Cody got the ball on that kick, but look at the pictures. If he hadn't, there were at least two others who would have.

Great teams find a way to win. We may not go undefeated this year. But then again, we just might.

They have a really tough season with most of them away games! It should be good football once again, gentlemen!
