Most US adults think Donald Trump is moving the country in the wrong direction during his second presidency, according to a new NPR/PBS News/Marist poll released the day before his State of the Union speech.

Fifty-five percent of adults feel that Trump is changing the country for the worse, a 13-point increase from around the same time of his first presidency, the survey conducted from 27 to 30 January found.

WOW I guess no one will vote for him again

I dont defend Trump.

What about the performance of everyone else?
Well if we look at what has happened over the last 50 years Reagan ran us into a deep recession and almost tripled the debt, GW ran us into what was almost a deep depression and doubled the debt , Obama came in and turned things around and YES he ran the debt up about 8 Trillion dollars in the 8 years he was in and then we have Trump who ran the debt up almost as much as Obama did and put us in a recession, and did it all in JUST 4 years.
Kinda looks like there may be a pattern here, Republicans destroying the economy and dems coming in and fixing it.
It has been pointed out many of times the DEMS are better at keeping a good economy then Republicans are.

I'm curious...

How do you think Trump has made the nation worse off? Could you cite like 3 or 4 examples? Should be easy if he's as awful as you claim.

1. Wars and threats of war in Venezuela and Iran.
2. Tariffs
3. ICE thugs murdering citizens and non-citizens
4. Weaponizing the DOJ
5. Ignoring court rulings
6. Refusing to address affordability, the housing shortage, the high costs of child care, medical care, groceries, other products
7. Focusing on personal grievances over the nation's issues
8. Creating greater division among Americans
9. Ballooning deficit/debt
10. Tax cuts for the wealthy, shit for the rest of us.

Is that enough? Because there's lots more where that came from.
