If i have to pay $7.99 to rent a movie from Amazon and I already pay for a prime membership I vote we just reopen blockbuster. I'd rather let the cashiers judge my choices than be charged twice.

The whole setup just irritates me. First it was cheaper than cable so we cut the cord. then the prices went up, Now the prices are up and you have to pay extra for some things or there are commercials again.

Full circle.
Amazon Prime was better in the past. I still sign up during the Christmas buying season for special deals and Prime Delivery. Then I cancel a month later.

Most of it is patience. The last time I joined the mob to be the first to see a movie was "Jaws". After that, I learned to wait a few weeks then go to a matinee.

Nowadays, there's plenty of good movies on free or low-cost streaming. In six to twelve months, whatever movies are out now will show up on streaming without paying extra. Sooner if you want to see "Melania". :D

I've never paid extra on any streaming channel. A few months back, we changed our Netflix plan to the cheapest one with commercials. The savings paid for a Hulu/Disney bundle. We did the same with HBO. Commercials = piss break and I always rewind a bit if I miss something. Easy Peasy.
