Believers and scripture...!

What is complete hogwash?
Your claim: "while you pretend you have found something that says Christ was wrong and did not know what he was talking about?"
Jesus teachings?
Jesus' teachings are perfect, as he is perfect.
Why are you so desperate to not address any of Jesus words, the subject of this thread?
I've already addressed your opening post, QP! ... I addressed it by asking you a couple of follow up questions (so as to go beyond the surface level of a few out-of-context quotes). I want you to explore your own thread at a deeper level.

1. Does Heaven have secure borders? If so, then why so? If not, then support your answer via The Bible.

2. Does Heaven have a strict immigration policy? If so, then why so? If not, then support your answer via The Bible.
Why are you so desperate to change the topic while saying your words are what need to be to discussed instead of Jesus words?
Why are you so desperate to avoid a deeper dive into your own thread topic?

You haven't even quoted Jesus' words btw, or dived into how any of them tie into The Bible as a whole.

There may not be a "Heaven" or an afterlife of any kind, so the question makes no sense. It is like asking what the atmosphere of Wonderland is like.

See my remark up above. If you are able to prove that Heaven exists, I can comment on what the people who wrote the Bible have to say about its "borders."

See above.

You've got your work cut out for you. Prove there is a Heaven...and I will explain, as best I can, what the people who wrote the Bible claim about it "borders."
Stop evading. These questions (and this thread) are operating under the assumption that The Bible is true.

If one wishes to discuss the contents of the Harry Potter series, one doesn't first need to prove that there IS a Harry Potter and a Hogwarts. One need only possess the Harry Potter books and discuss anything relating to Harry Potter per the text of the books. It's no different for The Bible. Stop evading.

Stop evading.

I am not evading your questions.

You ARE evading mine.

I hope you are willing to answer mine...as I have answered yours.

These questions (and this thread) are operating under the assumption that The Bible is true.

I'm not. Am I required to do so? Some rule with which I am not familiar? Are you dictating that a person posting here must be? In a thread devoted too discussing religion????????

Okay, if you feel the Bible is like the Harry Potter books, I will take you seriously. I tend to agree about that. I have mentioned that IN MY OPINION, while I do not have enough unambiguous evidence upon which to base a meaningful guess about the existence of gods...I certainly have enough upon which to make a guess about the Bible. Here it is:

My guess, for what it is worth, is that a very self-serving history (of sorts) of the early Hebrew people...a relatively unsophisticated, unknowledgeable, superstitious people who had many enemies in the areas where they lived. Their enemies worshiped barbarous, vengeful, wrathful, unforgiving, demanding, murderous, petty gods. And to protect themselves from those gods, they invented an especially barbarous, vengeful, wrathful, unforgiving, demanding, murderous, petty god...and worshiped it. The story seems to be a necessary mythology. The mythology served a needed purpose at that time and I can easily understand why the ancient Hebrews felt about it the way they did. The fact that modern theists feel the way they do about it...is disappointing and disheartening.

So...now that we are treating it as factual as the Harry Potter series, my response to your question, "Why does Heaven have a secure border and a strict immigration policy?"...IS...

...because the people who wrote it, decided it would make sense to set their "Heaven" up in a way that would require "the people" to be good. They did not want murderers or robbers roaming around. So they made their Heaven very exclusive. That is the way things often go with religions. Only the people who do what the leaders of the religion are allowed, according to their decrees, to get into the "Heaven" (be rewarded.)

Mothers and fathers often use that methodology...as I am sure you know. Some governments do it also.

You know what, gfm...this is an incredibly interesting area of exploration. I am really delighted that you are so interested in my answers to this...and I look forward to your reception to and (probably negative) reaction. This is fodder (pun intended) for an extended discussion of this topic.

Thanks for extending it.

So you say you answered the questions posed by my OP by offering other questions instead.

AND you complain i won't answer your questions and keep asking you questions :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Sorry but until you give a direct answer to my OP, and clearly explain if you agree with Christ teaching and views on how foreigners in your lands (migrants) should be treated, i will not allow you to try and change the topic so you can avoid acknowledging you think Jesus did not know what the fuck he was talking about and you instead believe in Trumps teachings over his.

Says the guy ^^^ who is desperate to avoid these questions posed by the OP.

Do you think Jesus was wrong and did not know what the fuck he was talking about with regards to foreigners in your lands and how they should be treated, and do you instead think that Trump is the one who is correct and is to be followed?

That set up sounds quite beneficial to "Heaven", yes?

You have yet to quote anything that Jesus said. Why does Heaven have walls/gates and strict immigration policy? Why were Adam and Eve "deported" from the Garden of Eden? Why was the Garden of Eden guarded by angels who didn't allow Adam and Eve to return there?

Not at all.

I think it sounds like a contrivance to dictate to people how they should act. What it leads to is more and more additions to the "YOU MUST NOT..." list. And soon you have stooges rather than people.

Think about it, gfm. That is not an idle comment I am making...nor one made just to refute where you are going with your journey here.

Heaven does not benefit from being quite as exclusive as some want to make it. In fact, Heaven is made much more less heavenly by dint of the exclusiveness.

Discuss this with me. It is IMPORTANT.

yes.

You have yet to address the topic of the OP i created and instead keep answering the question with a question to try and evade.

We can all see that.

And we can all laugh at you saying we must not answer your question by reposting the question in the OP and trying to get you to actually answer it :ROFLMAO:

You Christians can always add the context.

I notice that you seldom do, because the "out of context bullshit" is just...well, bullshit.

why are you running from engaging the thread topic and so desperate instead to change it to your questions?

Do you think Jesus was wrong in his beliefs and teachings or not?

I don't believe it's wrong to call out someone claims to be Christian, but who routinely uses vile language, routinely is hostile, hateful, and angry, and who writes torture fantasies on a public forum.

Hmmm. Back to human sacrifice to set things straight, huh?

Here's the crux of the whole thing: Without God's standard for morality, there is no standard.
Man is not able to set absolute standards of morality, whether you like it or not, I don't care.
Subjective morality theory does not fly in the face of good vs. evil.
Objective morality established by God is the only way. :dunno:
Any vision of human morality is still measured by the standard of God's morality.
You can't just write God, The Creator of this world off like you think you can, if you happen to be the type of arrogant, selfish shithead that wants to.
Just because you might want it to be that way, does not mean it is. :nono:
No, no. God created this world and the laws that it runs by, and it works like clockwork.
The sooner you realize that, the better off you will be.
It isn't all about you. You're welcome to your experience, but your experience is going to happen in God's world.
Also, it will be regulated by God's rules.

I think you already said it yourself, especially the bolded. "the people who wrote it, decided it would make sense to set their "Heaven" up in a way that would require "the people" to be good. They did not want murderers or robbers roaming around. So they made their Heaven very exclusive."

Even on a very micro level, this makes sense to me. Do you have walls and doors on your home? Do you let anybody and everybody enter into your home, or only certain select people? Why is that?

i HAVE quoted the main attributed positions and beliefs and teachings of Jesus, as per the bible and top Christian scholars.

Do you think those ideas expressed in the OP and attributed to Jesus are wrong and that if Jesus did believe them and push them, that Jesus was wrong?

Made up quotes are not what Jesus said. You have yet to quote anything that Jesus said.
