I was responding to another poster who was suggesting universal health care was possible if people were willing pay $2000. I'm not willing to pay it if taxpayer money is already being wasted and half the population doesn't even pay federal income tax.

First of all what to spend the money on is a worthwhile discussion. What the govt should be paying for and not be paying for is another worthwhile discussion.
