Trump continues to cause anemic job creation in private companies

We still do not know where AI is going, so it is clearly too early to tell.

There are AI people?

A few years ago, everyone thought AI would eliminate blue collar jobs, but not white collar jobs. I personally was sure that within a decade all new cars would drive themselves. Blue collar jobs seem very safe now, but entry, but high level white collar jobs are in danger. It looks like AI can write a legal brief, but not drive a truck.

That being said, it is way to early to tell. We could be just as mistaken about white collar jobs as blue collar jobs.

There was a time that white collar workers started as calculators doing basic calculation. First the calculator, and then the computer eliminated that entry level position. And yet, we still have accountants.
The pros said many years ago that we would have a paperless society. I do not think that happened. Then, robotics was going to eliminate millions of jobs. Someone has to design, build , install them, and maintain them. So the jobs are different, not gone. If AI can build and maintain itself, we may have real job losses.

With Trump in office NEVER say NEVER.
Trump doesn't give a shit about the Constitution.

The Constitution doesn't care about Trump. Trump isn't the superman he pretends to be and some think he is. He's only as strong as the country lets him be, and the country is beginning to tire of him.

The Trump tariffs have been a massive cost of living increase, but its claimed purpose of renewing American manufacturing is so far a bust.

When is it supposed to start working?

Manufacturing jobs down 72,000 April to end of the year.

And it is time people start calling/ texting/ emailing/ writing their people in Congress and tell them to do SOMETHING about this want to be KING and do it SOON. or they may not have a job after the mid terms IF we even have them.

Private payrolls rose by just 22,000 in January, far short of expectations, ADP says

Private companies added just 22,000 positions for January. The total was less than the downwardly revised 37,000 increase in December and below the consensus forecast for 45,000.

Private companies added just 22,000 positions for the month and the number would have been negative had it not been for a surge of 74,000 hires in the education and health services category. The total was less than the downwardly revised 37,000 increase in December and below the Dow Jones consensus forecast for 45,000.

Everything the Toadstool touches turns to shit.

Ask Toxic. She started claiming the day after the 2024 election that suddenly "everything is better now." Suddenly groceries cost less. Everyone could afford a new car and Taylor Swift tickets. People were suddenly happy again instead of worried, and no one was "starving" like when Pres. Biden was in office. I bet "Brett" and "Heather" agree, right? We know Faux News does. lol
