The Left says its harder for blacks to get a Voter ID

It is more difficult for poor people and old people to get an ID. The start is a birth certificate. If you are old, it can take a while. Mine did. The hospital I was born at merged several times. Some mergers failed. The cert was not on computer systems. It took some driving around and tracking. It also took a few bucks.
Poor people. Including blacks have difficulty getting away from work. There are fewer offices available for them to go to. If they do not have a car, getting rides is a problem.
It is not racism. It is reality.
 
Any Lefties here agree that the US needs a new national photo I.D. to legitimize American citizenship? This new photo ID would prevent any and all of illegitimate voting, i.e. that formerly came from the wide open border for illegals that came through under biden.

They could call it a driver's license. There is almost zero illegal voting. Our system works very well. It is checked after every election. There are some old people who vote for their spouses if their spouse has died. They are are more red voters than left. They also get caught.

... which the parents of the child can obtain an official certified copy from the vital records office (for a small fee) shortly after birth. Keep it in a SAFE place; don't lose the darn thing and you'll always have this form of ID handy.

It's not necessary to "get away from work". Online and mail are also options for requesting and receiving a birth certificate.

Wouldn't anyone simply go to the office that is the closest/most convenient for them? I'm not sure what you're on about here... Plus, like I said, an office visit isn't even necessary (see above).

No, we have mail-in voting. It's worked fine for years. They check our signatures and publish how we voted online so you can make sure your votes were correct and counted.

You want to make it harder for people to vote because you know your ideas suck - ergo - more people voting means Republicans lose.

This is all about trump and the Republicans making it harder for more people to vote. There is no voter fraud. There were studies done and the 2 cases found were Republican fraudsters.
