Mathematically Speaking: Is there life on other Planets?

At the highest emotional/philosophical level I think there is a gathering consensus that there might be, given current info advancements among the Human race. Just imagine what it would be like down here if it could be proven?
 
Try and remember that most Human mathematical equations are just theories based on current historical info, until some egg-head comes along and tweaks it, or disproves it, like when the Proles were lead to believe that when Henry Ford's horse-less carriage might one day try travel faster than 80 mph that the driver would be vaporised...remember that?
