“The GOP (Trump) is losing one of its best issues”

“For years, Republicans have had some reliable terra firma: If they were talking about immigration and border security, they were winning”

“Now the ground is shifting under them”

“A torrent of viral images from Minnesota and beyond as Trump’s immigration agents stepped up their shambolic interior campaign of enforcement in recent months — and the killing of two people in Minneapolis in two separate incidents this past month — have led to a loud public backlash, soured voters on the GOP’s approach and eroded President Donald Trump’s standing on the issue ahead”

“As former President Joe Biden and his administration officials left themselves electorally exposed on the issue, then-candidate Donald Trump exploited those vulnerabilities with vows to seal the southern border and enact the largest deportation campaign in American history. But his enforcement actions have focused less on the border, which polls show most voters approve of, and more on the nation’s interior, drawing the ire of Trump-curious commentators like the comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan and raising alarm among Republicans.”

“Stephen Miller may have basically created a political tsunami among voters, both Latino voters as well as moderate voters”

Appears Trump may be f*cking up his most successful issue to pimp, the immigration Armageddon isn’t selling like it did when he was the candidate, and not so sure conceding and sending bag man Homan is going to turn the tide

Trump desperately needs a new deflection, look out Iran

Agreed that he went too far. As did Biden letting the border run amok.
But thankfully the narrative has changed. Even in the communist and sanctuary state of Minnesota they’ve agreed to cooperate with ICE in finding violent illegals.

Minnesota is now a Communist country? Since when?

The narrative hasn’t changed, bringing Homan isn’t going to change ICE, there will be further examples of their Gestapo tactics, and Noem isn’t focusing on violent illegals, she has to satisfy Trump’s a million deportations a year, she’s pursuing anyone who looks like an immigrant or speaks a different language

Minnesota is now a Communist country?
No. It’s a state.

Since when?
Since never. It’s a state.

... because ICE is going to send much of the ICE force home, and both sides will focus on dangerous criminals and STOP the mass sweeps.

You will not have a Nazi fascist America.

The Left, with their sympathetic allies in the MSM, have as usual created a fiction out of reality and presented to the public-at-large as the truth.

With Biden, the MSM downplayed, or outright ignored, what was happening at the Border and with illegal immigration in the hopes that the issue wouldn't be important come the 2024 election. They failed and it was one reason, but hardly the only one, that Harris / Biden wasn't reelected. The public could see what was going on and the major negative impact it was having nationwide.

Now, with Trump the script has been flipped by the MSM who are attacking ICE and enforcement of immigration law. To do this they have largely, if not entirely, focused on Leftist run, Leftist populated, part of one city, Minneapolis. Radical Leftist agitators, thugs, professional protesters, and the like have poured into Minneapolis and started their usual 24/7 violent rioting against ICE operations there.

If you look at a map--Google maps is your friend--virtually ALL of the protesting in Minneapolis is centered in an area about 2 x 1 miles in size bounded by I 94 to the North, I 35W to the west, Highway 55 to the East with an occasional spill over between there and the Mississippi river, and E 35th St. to the South. EVERY video, photo, or other story on the violent rioting in Minneapolis takes place within that area.

This might be a good example of what that area is like politically:

Note the advertising in the right-hand window... It's right in the center of said area.

That's it that two (2) square mile area in one not-so-big US city in one state is driving the narrative on the MSM right now. Two days ago, ICE and DHS raided 15 locations of Zipp's Sports Grills in Phoenix, the 5th largest city in the US. They arrested about two dozen people. One location was at University Drive and Mill Ave in Tempe right off the ASU campus. The Left mustered maybe 100 people to protest this. The local cops were out in force to make sure they stayed peaceful. That story got zero national news play.

Instead, the MSM was focused on the false narrative that a peaceful protester--who it turns out was a repeat violent protester--was shot and killed by ICE in that 2 x 1 square mile area of Minneapolis while violently protesting. Control of the narrative is critical for the Left. Without it, they can't accomplish anything whatsoever. They don't have the numbers or popularity without creating fictions about how evil their opposition is. That's what they're doing again with ICE enforcement.

Trump let Miller go too far with his white supremacist march. Now they're trying to overturn future elections. The FBI just raided the election offices in Fulton Country GA and seized their info.

Fascism 101 - if you can't win elections, either don't hold them or hold fake ones.

LOL - "communist sanctuary state".

Go fuck yourself with that Nazi shit, bitch. Minneapolis was a happy peaceful community before trump's masked murder thug force started terrorizing the people.

Have you always sucked as a human or was this a recent development, Anne?

Trump created, by design, the media focus on Minneapolis, he sent the extra 2000 Ice agents to Minneapolis, he talked up fraud cases, he portrayed Minneapolis as a crime ridden city overtaken by illegals immigrants. Unfortunately for him, his ICE agents started shooting protesters, and his orchestrated script backfired
