Too funny! @evince thinks the US is a democracy! You can't make this shit up. @evince never learned even the basics, i.e. that the US is a representational republic, and that democracies don't have constitutions that guarantee minority rights.

Someone pull @evince aside and explain to her that the US has never been a democracy, that the words "democracy" and "democratic" don't appear in the Constitution, and that only a republican form of government is guaranteed. Please remind her that she is supposedly a grown adult and that I shouldn't be the first person to teach her this.
