Was it ok to kill him?

Is it ok that they killed him? No but here's the thing when you stick your nose in places it has no business being it might get bitten off. No sympathy for idiots that make stupid decisions
He was helping a woman who had been thrown to the ground by one of these goons. I understand that a piece of shit like yu might not understand that, but...what can I say. You are both ignorant and a goon yourself, so continue with your ignorance.

One day you may find yourself in a similar situation...helping someone up. And it you are faulted for doing so, I hope you see what a fucking baboon you are for feeling as you do.

Fighting with the police is dumb . Fighting with the police while you are armed is borderline suicidal.
I watched all of the videos of the encounter...and I did not see him "fighting with the police." He was trying to help the woman who had been pushed to the ground get back up. And there didn't seem to be any police there...just a bunch of power-hungry goons roughing up people like Gestapo.

He was very clearly resisting arrest. He also interfered with the woman's arrest.

I always told my son to respectfully comply with police orders. The only place to fight police is in court.

"Was it ok to kill him?"

Execute. Was it ok to execute him? No. Law enforcement can use lethal force when there is a threat on their lives. Given that he wasn't in possession of his gun, Pretti wasn't a threat.

Trump knows this and his admin knows this, which is why people are being fired from their roles with ICE, Trump is suddenly calling Walz and the admins tone about the murder has completely reversed.

Those three goons look absolutely terrorized by Pretti in that picture. You can see just how menacing he looks...and how little defense they could have mounted if he threw that phone at them. They had to shoot him dead in the interests of their own safety.

Well...apparently in the eyes of the ignorant Trump supporters here in JPP...YES!

Link to Babbitt history of mental illness.
Reason #47 on why Ms. Fat Lame isn't a doctor. Only a fucking moron believes that Babbitt's long history of erratic behavior isn't a sign of mental illness regardless if it is formally diagnosed by a doctor or not.

Idiots, criminals and drug users like Ms. Fat Lame believe that, unless a person is diagnose with cancer, they don't have cancer. Strange, but typical of MAGA morons.

She discovered the far-right conspiracy theory QAnon, which asserted that Trump was trying to save the country from a cabal of Satan-worshipping child molesters installed within the United States government.

Over time, Babbitt became increasingly steeped in QAnon and was primed to believe the robustly disproved conspiracy that the 2020 election had been stolen from Trump. So when Trump encouraged his followers to go to Washington to support him on January 6, 2021, she did. While the election results were being officially certified by Congress, Trump addressed a crowd that included Babbitt. And when he encouraged them to go to the Capitol, many did — Babbitt among them.

Not everyone who went to the Capitol broke into the building, but she did. With a Trump flag draped over her shoulders like a superhero’s cape, Babbitt was part of the group who tried to gain access to the Speaker’s Lobby, just outside the House chamber. Another rioter smashed glass. As Babbitt tried to crawl through, a Capitol Police officer shot her from inside the lobby.

was ashli babbitt mentally ill?

There are no official diagnoses or public records confirming that Ashli Babbitt was mentally ill. News reports detail a complex personal and financial history, including accounts of frustration, anger, and a troubled past, but not a formal mental illness diagnosis.
Reports and investigations into her life reveal:

  • Personal Struggles Her brother reported she was frustrated with issues like homelessness in San Diego and the difficulties of running a small business.
  • Behavioral Issues An individual involved in a 2016 road-rage incident recounted Babbitt yelling expletives and making threats, leading that person to seek a peace order out of fear. She was later acquitted of the related criminal charges.
  • Financial Stress Her pool supply company struggled financially, resulting in a $71,000 court judgment against her for failing to repay a loan.
  • Political Views In the months before her death, she became deeply involved in former President Donald Trump's movement and embraced right-wing conspiracy theories, including QAnon.
While some articles and commentators have speculated about her state of mind or suggested she might have been vulnerable to being misled, these are interpretations, not medical facts. Official investigations into her death focused on the legality of the shooting, which was determined to be justified, and did not delve into a posthumous mental health assessment.

Just more reason why Americans need to stand against Trump's thugs, traitors and terrorists.

One...he was NOT "clearly resisting arrest." And he was not interfering with the woman's arrest. The woman didn't seem to be facing arrest...she was just being pushed hard by one of the goons who clearly wanted to rough someone up. And, what seems to be to his delight, he managed to get someone killed.

I pity your son to have you as a father...no matter what you told him.

It was widely reported that Babbit was big into Qanon so I'd say she was mentally ill.

Agreed, as were a majority of the Qanon members arrested that day. Note that mental illness and severe financial problems often go hand-in-hand.

Nearly 60 percent of the people facing charges related to the Capitol riot showed signs of prior money troubles, including bankruptcies, notices of eviction or foreclosure, bad debts, or unpaid taxes over the past two decades, according to a Washington Post analysis of public records for 125 defendants with sufficient information to detail their financial histories.

You need to make an appointment with your ophthalmologist because your vision is failing you.

My son would disagree with you. I gave him a 500K home as an advancement on his inheritance. I wanted to see him enjoy his inheritance.

I'm sure he is delighted with it. Thanks for sending me a picture of it. Hell, let's share it with everyone.

Interfering isn't punishable by death.

Maybe you live in the wrong country?
First of all you have no right to interfere with law enforcement officials in the execution of their duties. Second even if it's not punishable by death your chances of being killed increase exponentially if you're retarded enough to interfere which again you have no right to do. Lastly I used to live in a country that wasn't half filled with rabid leftists assholes who thing they can do whatever they like and not suffer any consequences

Generally no. Why do you ask?
Generally no? No you have no fucking right to interfere with leos doing their job. To do so puts you at risk. Being killed is a sad result of the stupid decision those retarded monkeys made. What they should have done was call their elected representatives but no you ass wipes think it's your duty to interfere. Doing so is apparently life threatening. Normal people avoid such things but you people aren't normal are you?
