Pretti's gun is a Sig-Sauer P320 9mm that particular design gun has had a history of multiple accidental discharges. In fact recently a security guard removed his belt and holster and threw it on a table where it discharged striking him in the chest and killing him. The family sues Sig and won. The FBI and other law enforcement departments will not allow officers or agents to carry the Sig P320.
Now look at this video starting at around 24:20 you can see what looks like a discharge and stuff coming out of the barrel and a recoil of the slide and a recoil wave in the agents arm. Once thee shooting started after this accidental discharge the agent ran to get out of any crossfire.
At first I was skeptical of an accidental discharge now I'm not.

If it was fired there should be a slug in the road and a spent shell with the firing pin imprint which can be identified.

Trump's thugs escalated situation by attacking the woman. When Petti tried to help her, several Federal officers again escalated the situation with pepper spray to the face, then they began a prison gang-style beat down. At some point during the beating an officer noticed he was armed and yelled "gun!" then he or another officer disarmed Petti. At that point one or more officers furthered the escalation by firing at least 10 rounds into Petti at point-blank range when he was on his knees then prone.
Attack Petti all you like, but the court of opinion is decidedly against this behavior on the part of our federal officers. They're supposed be protecting us, not bullying, beating, pepper spraying and murdering Americans into submission.
Now tell me again that all of this is Petti's fault because he was exercising his First and Second Amendment rights?
