Who belives President Obama is a Socialist?

You moron. That was 3D's troll!

I have two trolls, and haven't used either one in ages. What am I supposed to have done, again? :cof1:

Well as H.L. Mencken said about conservatives in this nation "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."

This post I heartily agree with, although it is a bit premature to be calling the American public "conservative," since that's a wide umbrella.

Lets not change the subject every time you get pwned with facts...

the subject is Obama the president, not Limbaugh, the entertainer.

:321:

The socialism we accuse Obama of is directly from his own actions and his own lips....."spread the wealth", "redistribute the wealth", socialized medicine, gov. takeover of GM, etc....

For the umpteenth time the government did not "take over" GM. GM was going bankrupt. The government helped GM.

First the Right whines about "bailout". "Why is the government giving them money?" Then they claim "takeover." So, which is it? Did the government help GM or did the government take it over?

If one can't make their mortgage payment there's a big difference between the bank helping and the bank taking over the home.

The phrase "spread the wealth" goes back to Joe the Plumber and Obama was referring to everyone having a chance to own a business. I did a breakdown of Obama's so-called "redistributing the wealth" and the actual figures involved were an additional $800.00 tax on an income of $275,000.00. If that's considered "redistributing" I hope he never works in a food bank!

We don't fear socialism, we just don't want it....face the facts...
Obama IS a socialist, just like a majority of his Administration to one degree or another..., as many have admitted, some inadvertently, some right up front.....just like
Bernie Sanders ....at least he fuckin' admits it

You don't have to be a florist to smell the roses.

Building infrastructure isn't "redistributing wealth"
Government sponsored education isn't "redistributing wealth"
The VA and Medicare isn't "redistributing wealth"
The Nations defense isn't "redistributing wealth"
the progressive tax system IS "redistributing wealth"

Why isn't building infrastructure considered redistributing wealth? The bum getting a drink from a water fountain in a park is benefiting from infrastructure which he never paid for.

Government education. The welfare family never contributed towards the education budget by way of taxes.

If medicare isn't redistributing the wealth why is Obama's health plan considered redistributing the wealth?

Of course people in Obama's administration believe in social policies, to one degree or another. So do the vast majority of citizens.

Every town, every community, incorporates social policies. From public pools to ice rinks to libraries to parks......and the more services provided the better the community. The benefits, the proof, is obvious.

because we all drink from the same drinking fountains, drive over the same bridges, go to the same schools......

you cannot argue that one person needs to pay for another persons healthcare, so that he will have a bridge to drive over when he needs one.....

and will you admit that if the community provides more services than it can pay for, it is NOT better for the community?.......

because we all drink from the same drinking fountains, drive over the same bridges, go to the same schools......

And we go to the same hospitals.

The person who doesn't own a car and takes public transportation still pays for roads and bridges just like the guy who owns two cars. The licensing fee doesn't come close to paying for those roads and bridges.

you cannot argue that one person needs to pay for another persons healthcare, so that he will have a bridge to drive over when he needs one.....

We all use health care at some point in our lives just like we have a bridge available, when necessary.

and will you admit that if the community provides more services than it can pay for, it is NOT better for the community?.......

That's true, however, if we look at the country as a community there is plenty of money. Other countries with considerable less wealth have government medical plans so the US can certainly afford one.

If the US is the richest country in the world it makes sense to conclude it can afford the services offered by any other country.

You must be one of the minority of lawyers who's never done pro bono work.

and you must be one of those who need it.....and ALL lawyers do pro bono work.....

That's not what the ABA says.

Nearly Three-Fourths of America's Lawyers Do Pro Bono Work, According to A New ABA Study

CHICAGO, Feb. 18, 2009 – Pro bono work by America’s lawyers is on the increase with nearly three-fourths of lawyers providing free legal services to disadvantaged individuals or to the organizations that serve them. That’s one of the significant findings of a new study done by the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service.

The study – Supporting Justice II: A Report on the Pro Bono Work of America’s Lawyers – shows that lawyers do pro bono work at nearly three times the rate that members of the general population do volunteer work. The ABA study done in 2008 shows that 73 percent of lawyers do pro bono work compared to 26.2 percent of the general population that does volunteer work.

The 73 percent figure in the most recent study is an increase from the 66 per cent of lawyers indicating that they provided free legal services for the disadvantaged in a similar study done in 2004.

WE...the government OWNED 77.5 % of GM...thats called a fuckin' "takeover" in any language, you peckerhead....
and Obama GAVE AWAY 17.5% of OUR COMPANY to the fuckin' UAW Union....see if your one lonely neuron can grasp that.

And the "spread the wealth" issue....it goes FAR FAR beyond Joe the Plumber....and even your mis-characterization of that incident is freakin' wrong from beginning to end...arguing with you is like arguing with a child..
