Chris Madel, a Minneapolis attorney who was running as a Republican for Minnesota governor, said Monday that he was ending his campaign because of the national GOP’s “retribution” on his state, describing Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations there as an “unmitigated disa

“I cannot support the national Republicans’ stated retribution on the citizens of our state, nor can I count myself a member of a party that would do so,” Madel said in a video posted to his campaign’s social media channels.


Trump engineered the muddle behind all this, the same kind of forward thinking that sent him six times into the bankruptcy courts.

Yeah, Madel quitting had nothing to do with the fact he couldn't win did it? lol. He's not a good American let alone Republican if he thinks his State doesn't deserve every bit of scrutiny and the ICE surge they've more than earned. For starters, any Minnesota republican that doesn't openly call for Walz and Frey to step down is a non-starter. He should have also demanded that every State official should cooperate fully with every Federal officer in their State. Why? The leaders in Minnesota have lost all credibility and trust, they've lost the right to be part of the future, period. Remember, libtards will put any letter next to their name if they think it will help them, they have no standards, morals, character, or honor. What's new?
