BP's greed leads to new legislation

Focus on the issue, TP.

Is BP guilty or not?

If the Obama administration oil rig inspection teams were doing their freakin' jobs, maybe things would have been different.....but then Democrats screw up just about everything they touch.....our economy is proof of that.....

From an economy with 7 1/2 years of 4.5% unemployment to a disaster...thats the record of 3 years of Democratic Congressional control and 18 months of D control in the White House.....undeniable fact.

Maybe. So, vote GOP. Oh, that's right - you did.

What's the charge? Are Transocean and Halliburton to be included in your indictments or is this just an anti-British vendetta you are conducting??

In the greedy interest of billions of dollars in offshore drilling profits, BP chose to misrepresent its capability to respond and prevent impact to the environment, the public and the plaintiffs, and concealed its incapacity to response.

The whole affair is the fault of ignorant lazy Yanks. Typical.

BP should not pay a single penny.

A recent report by the U.S. Travel Association predicts the economic losses for Gulf Coast businesses and individuals could top $23 billion over the next three years.

The spill is impacting a five-state region that generates $34 billion a year in tourism dollars and sustains some 400,000 jobs. And of that $34 billion, Florida generates more than $20 billion in visitor spending, with more than 30,000 tourist-related jobs in the Panhandle.
