Just saw a SPLC commercial on TV

No. But that doesn't change that they've been repeatedly sued and lost for slander and libel against groups and persons they've labeled as haters. The FBI no longer deems them a credible source. But, by god, they've got piles of money!

You tend to post opinion pieces. Why?
@Dutch Uncle is correct. It's under new administration.

At this point if Duck's Dork told us the sun would rise in the East tomorrow morning, I'd check with 6 to 8 reliable sources to make sure. His credibility on anything is zero. Oh, and his AI generated memes suck for being both insane and mind-numbingly repetitive.

Just checked. Apparently there's no video uploaded but there's this.

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) launched its "Poverty Is Not a Line" campaign in January 2026 to advocate for economic justice and reshape public narratives about poverty.
The SPLC also has several active television commercials for various initiatives, which can be viewed online:
  • "A Powerful Promise": A TV spot highlighting the SPLC's mission.
  • "Extremism on the Rise": A commercial that focuses on the SPLC's work in tracking and dismantling extremist groups.
  • "Fight Hate": A general awareness commercial about the SPLC's efforts to combat hate.
These commercials, along with others such as "The Vote" and "The Struggle for Equal Rights," are part of their ongoing advocacy efforts and can be found on ad-tracking websites like iSpot.tv.
For more information on the SPLC's campaigns and initiatives, you can visit the Southern Poverty Law Center website directly.

Maybe but he's correct on this point.

In your insane, drug addled, alternate reality is there a difference? Just curious.
^^^
I love it when MAGAts lie as a defense for their Pedo King. It's proof of their guilt since honest people don't lie. Evil people? They lie from the get-go.

QED on the go-to MAGA move to lie, insult and bullshit their way around the truth. Sad, but these people truly are evil and must face a day of reckoning.

No, he's not. The SPLC no longer functions in their original role. They don't have staffing of lawyers helping the poor or oppressed. They just publish their hate map and list organizations that they claim are haters. All the while, they beg for donations. They don't even particularly care if they're sued for libel or slander. They rake in far more cash in donations than they pay out in settlements or lost lawsuits.

They're really little different from some "charity" like Feed the Children or televangelists. They market a product, their hate map, to Leftists who find it meshes with their own views and who in turn send the SPLC money.

They've become a scam on Leftists.

Who says it's non functional? The Trump Administration?
They don't have staffing of lawyers helping the poor or oppressed.
Yes they do. ACLU does too.
They just publish their hate map and list organizations that they claim are haters.
Which claims are false?

Opinion noted and dismissed.

Interesting that you consider Feed the Children to be a fraud. Televangelists try to sell, SPLC doesn't.
They've become a scam on Leftists.
Trump has become a scam on Rightists like yourself.

Who says it's non functional? The Trump Administration?

Their staff doing that function quit on them years ago. It's documented in links I've already posted.
Yes they do. ACLU does too.

The SPLC no longer does.
Which claims are false?

The ones they've been sued for libel or slander and lost for starters.
Opinion noted and dismissed.

It is self-obvious they beg for donations. They made the commercial you watched. They do it on their websites.

:eyeroll:

Analogy? Do you understand how those work?
Trump has become a scam on Rightists like yourself.

Really? How so? I'm not giving him a nickel.

The above contains no citations. Merely opinions without proof.

Yes I do. Trump begs for donations and you say nothing.
Really? How so? I'm not giving him a nickel.
He got you believing that SPLC is a hate group.
