Aaron Rodgers

This AM I heard one of the sports talking heads say that the Steelers have always hired young HCs, at least in the modern era. The last three were in their thirties when hired. Guess we'll see if they continue that trend.

The Rooney's have always stood behind their coaches, I believe they would have stood behind Tomlin until his contract expired next year. (who knows after that) I also believe the fans screaming for his head had a bit to do with his decision to leave. Myself, I wouldn't have fired him.

That said, I hope (as I said before) the Rooney's can find another young coach who can stay as long and be as successful as the last three were.

As for Rogers, I was never a fan of his, but becoming the Steelers starter, I had to root for his success. I thought Rudolf should have been our starter,
he seemed to do alright when he played. We need to draft a good college QB and let him develop. We need to draft offensive linemen. We need to draft receivers. We need to draft defensive linemen and another. good safety. The problem isn't the coaching, it's many of our players are older and not quite as fast as they once were. Granted, we do have a few outstanding players on both sides of the ball, but we need young blood in many of the aforementioned positions. Just my opinion....
