Let me see if I can find a "citation" considering the news agencies do not cover the surges as they are aided by the local authorities. In Florida the Sheriffs actually turn over the violent criminals as they are released when they are on an ICE hold, unlike the areas they must do the kind of action you see here.

In Texas ~24% of all arrests of criminal illegal aliens (those who have committed crimes)... This is a current statistic. However, they have a high cooperation level. As I stated instead of having to hunt them down and capture them their Sheriffs actually respect ICE hold requests and they are arrested quietly before they ever leave the jail. In states where laws require them not to cooperate with ICE you get activity like in MN.

If you can’t find a citation, what is the basis for your claim? Where did you get this information?

In what way does that support your claim that the Florida and Texas authorities are cooperating while other states are not cooperating?

I am willing to guess that Florida, California and Texas have higher illegal immigrant rates than, for example, Minnesota.

Considering 1/4 of the arrests have been in one of those states, pretending there have been no surges is absurd. They are cooperating, they hand over offenders on ICE hold requests. Have you bothered doing any research on this or did you expect me to do it all for you because you are asking questions? I don't have time to read all the articles on the subject to you, but I suggest you read some rather than just watching whatever news source you must watch to get these kind of questions. It sounds like you got the talking points memo in your email and thought they were "good" so you'd bring it here and expect "nobody would be able to answer"...

You were the one making those claims, I’m just asking for some bases for those claims.

Have the numbers in Florida and Texas increased recently? Do those numbers correlate with the percentages undocumented people who live in those states compared to the other states?

Random statistics don’t necessarily mean anything.

I already strongly suspect that Florida, Texas and California have a much higher percentage of undocumented people than Minnesota.
