Facts. tRump still hasn't forgiven Walz for running against him.
We don't have any evidence they are happening.Surges in Florida and Texas have the support of the state and city governments. You don't get to hear about them, because they are not "news".
Because your news sources are not looking for it.We don't have any evidence they are happening.
Citation? Are there surges in Florida or Texas?Surges in Florida and Texas have the support of the state and city governments. You don't get to hear about them, because they are not "news".
Let me see if I can find a "citation" considering the news agencies do not cover the surges as they are aided by the local authorities. In Florida the Sheriffs actually turn over the violent criminals as they are released when they are on an ICE hold, unlike the areas they must do the kind of action you see here.Citation? If you can’t find a citation, what is the basis for your claim? Where did you get this information?Let me see if I can find a "citation" considering the news agencies do not cover the surges as they are aided by the local authorities. In Texas ~24% of all arrests of criminal illegal aliens (those who have committed crimes)... This is a current statistic. However, they have a high cooperation level. As I stated instead of having to hunt them down and capture them their Sheriffs actually respect ICE hold requests and they are arrested quietly before they ever leave the jail. In states where laws require them not to cooperate with ICE you get activity like in MN.
I didn't say I can't. I said let me look for one you would trust. ICE statistics are apparently not enough. If you can’t find a citation, what is the basis for your claim? Where did you get this information?
OK, that’s fair. You’re probably right, I don’t think I would trust the PP’s ICE statistics.I didn't say I can't. I said let me look for one you would trust. ICE statistics are apparently not enough.
I should’ve rephrase that, if you don’t already have a reliable source… Where did you get that information from?I didn't say I can't. I said let me look for one you would trust. ICE statistics are apparently not enough.
In what way does that support your claim that the Florida and Texas authorities are cooperating while other states are not cooperating?![]()
Map shows states where ICE arrests are highest, lowest
The states with the highest number of arrests between January 20 and June 26, 2025, were Texas, Florida, and California.www.newsweek.com
Texas led with approximately 23.2 percent of the national total of ICE arrests. Florida followed with 11 percent, while California made up up 7 percent of the total. Other states with notable arrest numbers included Georgia with 4 percent and Arizona with 3 percent. These figures were reported by El País, based on publicly available ICE data compiled by the Deportation Data Project.
Considering 1/4 of the arrests have been in one of those states, pretending there have been no surges is absurd. They are cooperating, they hand over offenders on ICE hold requests. Have you bothered doing any research on this or did you expect me to do it all for you because you are asking questions? I don't have time to read all the articles on the subject to you, but I suggest you read some rather than just watching whatever news source you must watch to get these kind of questions. It sounds like you got the talking points memo in your email and thought they were "good" so you'd bring it here and expect "nobody would be able to answer"...In what way does that support your claim that the Florida and Texas authorities are cooperating while other states are not cooperating?
You were the one making those claims, I’m just asking for some bases for those claims.Considering 1/4 of the arrests have been in one of those states, pretending there have been no surges is absurd. No, I was the one answering your question. Do a google search, stop demanding I do one for you. Lazy is not a virtue. You were the one making those claims, I’m just asking for some bases for those claims.
Have the numbers in Florida and Texas increased recently? Do those numbers correlate with the percentages undocumented people who live in those states compared to the other states?
Random statistics don’t necessarily mean anything.
I’m asking for a basis for your claim, I cannot find anything that supports it.No, I was the one answering your question. Do a google search, stop demanding I do one for you. Lazy is not a virtue.
they're governors are not fighting ice.
