SHe did not "drive at them", which is the only relevant point as to if her killing was legal or not.

She was there to disrupt the officers in the execution of their lawful duties, that does not mean she drove her car at them.

Babbitt was at the capitol to disrupt the officials in the execution of their lawful duties.

How do you believe Babbitt could have been stopped, there were hundreds on her side of the door, and a couple dozen on the side she breached. Once the zone was breached, what do you believe would have reasonably stopped the mob behind Babbitt?

Neither Babbit or Good were after the person who shot them. Babbitt posed a threat to the Vice President, who was in a room being protected by the man who shot her. I would have preferred that they taz her. Tackling her would likely have allowed the mob to move toward their target, Pence. Babbitt was standing in front of a mob of hundreds of people chanting about killing the guy the shooter was protecting. If you understand mob behavior, had she gotten through, the mass would have moved forward to the VP.

Babbitt should have lived, it would have been much better if non-lethal force was available to stop her. I much prefer that she be tazed before she came through the window. If the officer reasonably should have known non-lethal options were available and he did not use them, he should be prosecuted.

You are incorrect when you say that Good drive her vehicle AT the officer, any objective view shows her wheels were pointed away.

Babbitt had broken into the Capitol, and reached a place where she was a true threat to the VP. She was advancing, not retreating. Good was in her hometown, she was retreating when an officer put his body in a place where he knew he would not get run over, but it might look like it was possible. He knew what to do, he had been in that situation before. Good was trying to leave the situation, not breaking and entering and advancing with a mob on the VP of the United States of America.

If the officer had not killed Babbitt, and Pence had been killed, America just might be a better place today.

Why must you lie? The VP was no where near that room, or that window. There were many cops there, yet not one other cop fired. Why? The forum coward thinks they all should have opened up firing on all of the protesters, not just the ones inside the capitol.

As someone who is familiar with firearm laws, and when to use them. I don't think either one should have discharged their weapons.

Both were protesting the government, and should have been allowed to do so, but not to the point of endangering others.

The ICE officer put himself in front of Goods car for a reason, she was going to stop or he was going to kill her. When is such an action justified? In my opinion only if you are stopping someone from killing someone.
