The Obama Admin wants BP to harvest the oil, BP is argueing to keep the cap closed...

Do you agree with the Admin. or BP?

"The apparent disagreement began to sprout Saturday when Allen said the cap would eventually be hooked up to a mile-long pipe to pump the crude to ships on the surface. But early the next day, BP chief operating officer Doug Suttles said the cap should stay clamped shut to keep in the oil until a permanent fix."

Pretty much. It seems that releasing some of that pressure can help with the problem of the new fissure showing up...

WOW, it seems we may have stumbled onto something here!

Damocles has agreed with the administrations stance!

thank you grammar nazi....i really proof read my posts here

once again you cowardly run from actual discussion.....

according to your logic, obama should not have allowed bp to cap the well....that is stupid

I like you better when you just go around calling people hypocrites. The above is just stupid.

If I recommend that you should have a tuna sandwich for lunch today, it doesn't mean that I think you ought to have eaten tuna sandwiches for every meal you ate before today's lunch. Capice?

see, this is why i tire of your dishonesty....you never clarified only "today" with your statement, it was a blanket statement....

so, now you're saying you're just speaking solely to this one issue...is that right? why is it you feel the government should not listen to bp?

It's obvious that I was talking about a future course of action in response to a question about a specific event. Use your fucking head.

You're basically saying that if you asked me "what should I eat for lunch" and I said "you should eat a tuna sandwich" you would take me to me mean that you should not only always eat tuna sandwiches for lunch in the future bu that I think you should have always been eating tuna sandwiches all along. It's bizarre.

I feel the government should not listen to BP because BP's interests are not aligned with the public interest and the scenario for high pressure causing additional fissures is horrifying.

is it ONLY this one issue that the government should not do what bp wants don? or can the government can listen to bp on other issues?

what about the seepage, pump / harvest the oil and see if the seepage is reduced

also harvest to determine the real amount of oil spilled

bp is in business to enrich its shareholders not the citizens of the u s of a - so we cannot trust bp's decisions

i just love blind trust in the government

what is so funny is that a few weeks ago dems were crying that obama was no responsible for the clean up or fixing the problem as it is bp with the expertise...now....we should not listen to bp
