Happy Kwanzaa!

Isn't it special how Top wants to tell posters which holidays they're allowed to comment on? That if you don't celebrate it, you should keep your mouth shut?
Yes, with an emphasis on "special".

Apparently. I'm off with family doing Christmas stuff. I'm the cook for the extended family, today was the folks going on the Christmas Cruise to Hawai'i, so I made some glazed ham with pineapple...

Have you ever made (or had) hamloaf? Made the same way with the glaze and pineapple on top . It is one of my favorite meals.

Today was the folks that leave on the 26th for the Cruise, I created Turkey and used the ham in the stuffing and a bit in the gravy... Cauliflower mash, some etouffee and jambalaya....

Tomorrow will be Green Chili instead of gravy, turducken, more jambalaya and crawfish etouffee... A Mexican/Cajun fusion...

What, no Guatemalan Insanity Peppers or something? Where's your sense of adventure?

Went to Chinese buffet with the GF and her family (20+ people). I hate Chinese, but the bar also had American food. Stuffed myself.
Going to cousin's for dinner tomorrow. Probably gonna stuff myself and take a nap in the early afternoon, then to her sister's for a late supper
This is a bad time of year because I always gain about 10 lbs. When I was younger, I burned it back off, but the older I get, the harder it is to lose.
It's especially difficult when the GF has the house loaded with all kinds of Christmas candy, cookies, etc.
Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone!
