dec 23 2025v A violent attack shattered the quiet atmosphere of a local bookstore Monday night, leaving a 65-year-old woman dead and a suspect in custody.

Police rushed to the Barnes & Noble on Legacy Avenue in Palm Beach Gardens, just before 8 p.m., after reports of a stabbing. Upon entering the store, officers found the victim, identified as Rita B. Loncharich, suffering from severe injuries, according to WPTV. Police quickly fanned out across the area and located the suspect, 40-year-old Antonio R. Moore, arresting him shortly after the attack.
