Unfortunately, the Democrat Party isn't healthy anymore, at all. It's dangerous and radical in every conceivable way, and that's a shame.
When Reiner spouted that view, he was just another typical misguided leftist like the hordes of them out there, but at least reasonably sane back then. Just as the Democrat Party has completely lost its mind, so did Rob Reiner.
As I've already said, it's sad to waste your last years on earth stewing in that much hate and bitterness.

Where exactly did I make a 'declarative' statement claiming Rob Reiner's filmmaking suffered because of TDS?Let's pretend for a second that I did. Whether a movie is good or bad is entirely subjective. That means one person might call it a masterpiece, another might say it sucks. You get that, right? How could anyone ever 'prove' that TDS hurt his directing? Because critics praised it? Because it made money? Isn't it always possible it could have been better? Can I prove that? Can you? NO
