WHich sentence don't you understand? if no individual sentence is giving you trouble, then you must have problems making logical connections and retaining short term semantic data long enough to make higher level connections. I have tried to call out the death squad to silence asshat, but their voicemail was full one time, then I got put on hold for awhile and dropped off and when I finally got through it was to some Indian customer service guy who did not speak english well. But, we'll get it straightened out, don't worry.

They don't really have to bother. Even when exposed to the truth only a small minority of people would be able to accept it, let alone act on it in any way. Their investment in and control of media and eduction allows them to sculpt minds such by providing a baseline reality. When new information is received which runs counter to all other preconceived notions it is easier to just deny the new information by any means necessary than to accept the possibility of a new and scary reality.
