The employers don't pay the insurance and taxes on illegal workers if they pay them under the table. They hide the labor, so to speak. They trade the taxes on revenue(they pay taxes on profits they can't offset with the cash under the table payments) vs the extra stuff that comes along with having on the books employees

this means it costs them less than if they chose a citizen who would expect the SS payments to be in their name.

That's why we want employers to be peanlized, but the Obama DOJ is standing in the way.
