Obama care is too popular, Republicans gave up.

Congress hasn't repealed it because there are enough far left Socialist/Communist Democrats in the Senate who don't want to end the entitlement-vote train.

How about the people who have to be subsidized by taxpayers get a second job.

That's what honest people do.
2 min wage jobs do not cover healthcare. Let's make it simple for you. The people will get some healthcare. Who pays for it? Not the wealthy who have tax breaks and do not care about the suffering masses. It will be the regular taxpayers. The Republican Party is the party of the wealthy and corporations. They are using all their political power and the power of corporate lobbying to avoid paying. We need a universal healthcare system. We know who stops that. Hospitals and healthcare insurance stop it. So we have this mess and it will continue.

You should know that, dummy.
labels? Is that all you have? deal with the subject. The Dems are 99 percent normal American politicians. They do not think people should live deprived lives of desperation ,so the wealthy can live like royalty. Try and understand "We the people of the United States'. Not we, the wealthy and powerful. In the preamble "'promote the general welfare."

There is no longer an effort In Congress to repeal Obamacare. I’m sure if they could get away with gutting it, without the American people realizing what they’re doing, they would. They can’t.
Sadly .ore evidence how Republicans are just democrat light now

Popular? No. Entrenched? Yes.

Just 14% of Americans (in round numbers) use Obamacare. That is split about evenly between 7% who buy a plan in the Obamacare marketplace and 7% who get all but free Medicaid or Medicaid under the expansion of that program, primarily in blue states.

The other 86% of Americans have nothing to do with Obamacare. They typically get their insurance through an employer group plan instead that has nothing to do with Obamacare.

Among actual Obamacare plan buyers somewhere between 40 and 50% dislike their choices and plan. Among all Americans, popularity is heavily skewed to the Left. That is, on the Left the plan is wildly popular, even as most don't actually use it. For the rest of the political spectrum, popularity decreases rapidly as things move Right.

But, I'd say that asking people about something they don't use and their opinion of it is pretty much irrelevant.

Asking ALL Americans their opinion of Obamacare is nearly worthless as only, as I mentioned, 14% of Americans are actually using it, and half of those get their coverage for free for all intents.

It's also interesting to note that among Obamacare plan buyers, 60% say that Obamacare has raised their costs and hurt them.

Everyone with healthcare uses “Obamacare” idiot, it reformed every aspect of the insurance industry.

You don’t even know what Obamacare is, you believe it’s only the marketplace.

They have no plan. They won't get away with cutting healthcare and not replacing it with something better as promised.

As of 2024, roughly 45 million individuals in the U. S. benefited from the Affordable Care Act and were enrolled in some form of ACA-related health insurance.

45/330 = 13.9%

86% of Americans DO NOT USE ANY PART OF OBAMACARE! People in Medicare (not Medicaid) don't use it. People who get their insurance from an employer plan don't use it. Government and military employees don't use it.

Obamacare has two parts:

The marketplace. About 7% of all Americans buy an Obamacare plan. Expanded Medicaid. About 7% of all Americans are on an expanded Medicaid plan, mostly in blue states.

Those are the FACTS and you don't know what the hell you are talking about.

There is a lot of fraud in every form of medicine in America. The healthcare companies have huge power and can buy protection from the legal system.
The Durable Goods manufacturers have been overcharging us for many decades. The insurance companies and providers are looting us.
An insurance company in Florida was caught doing the biggest Medicare fraud in history. The head of the company was voted in as Governor of Florida and is now a Senator.
Look at your hospital bill and you will be shocked at how badly overcharged you are.
The whole system should be trashed and replaced with a universal sysyem.

I agree the system should be trashed. It should be replaced by market driven competition not more government as you appear to advocate for.

Already addressed in several posts.

I wish that were the case, but there is a new one about to pop up involving how the State classifies marriage exemption for payments. They seem to have carved out something special, giving them even more welfare money. Stick around. Details are just being uncovered.
It appears these people never stop with their scams.

Which is why I've always been against medicare for all. It's just so damn easy to commit fraud with it.
Same w/ medicaid. I saw it first hand as a provider.
