'You ain't getting it here.' Louisiana store owner locks out Border Patrol agents

On Saturday, Dec. 6, a convenience store manager in Louisiana locked out a group of Border Patrol agents, denying them entry to the store.

Wayne Davis, who is assistant manager of the store in Kenner, was helping a customer when he noticed two unmarked SUVs pull into the parking lot and stop at the front of the store.

After seeing agents wearing border patrol vests exit the two vehicles, Davis locked the door from behind the counter as the agents approached, WWL Louisiana reported.

Then he proceeded to taunt them, lol.

I wonder if the person that owned the store agreed with him.

Since when in the US did we start having "protect(ed) class(es)" of people? I thought everyone has equal rights but here you are saying some people have more rights than others.
It started, as far as I can trace with Brown v. Board of Education (1954), the courts ruled that under the 14th Amendment people of certain characteristics were in high likelihood to face particularized systematic discrimination, and in order to attain “equal protection of the law” required heightened protection due to the historic systemized exclusion and subordination of them.

Discrimination. Pure and simple.

There is no need for a warrant to enter a public place.

He wouldn't have locked the door if he wasn't hiding something.
Or, he's just as fucked up in the head with TDS as you are for supporting him.
Private property rights. The establishment reserves the right to deny services to individuals as allowed by the law. It’s not illegal discrimination.

Much like an establishment can deny service to a disorderly drunk, they can deny service to a group of people known to cause a disturbance. ICE agents are not a protected class.

Are you that ignorant of our laws and history?

Send in a bunch of black ICE agents and claim racial discrimination if the store denies them service.

The facts would show that it’s not based in racial discrimination, but the fact that they are ICE Agents and so it would be legal…. How stupid are you?

Nope. It is open to the public.

Being disorderly or drunk is grounds for prevention, just as no shoes or shirt is a requirement to enter many establishments.
Who has said ICE agents are a protected class? I highly doubt they would become disorderly, they were just hungry.
So, to you, it would be OK to prevent a few lawyers to enter an establishment just because you don't like lawyers? Hmmm...

I definitely question your expertise...

ICE agents are not a protected class by the Supreme Court or any other court. Lawyers are not a protected class, so you could deny service. Are you this ignorant of the law?

If a group of clansman, in white sheets, approached an establishment, you could deny them entry, just like a group of ICE agents. ICE agents are not a protected class.

Yes but you are just demonstrating your lack of intellect again.

Being given protection because the government sees your rights are at threat is not 'more rights'. If someone wants to kill you and deny you your right to life and liberty and the police send in protection, that person does not have more rights than the neighbor who is not being threatened and thus not getting the same protection.

You mean there is a real difference between clansmen and ICE agents?
