I have no problem with helping the farmers, but tell me if I have this straight, Trump takes a photo op to boast he is offering $12 billion of taxpayers funds to pay for a problem that he created?

Not a question of subsidizing farmers, poor deflection, but pointing out the reason why we have to aid them now, and the narcissism of the one taking credit for aiding them after he created their problem

Are you kidding? The subsidies are still in place. The impact of Trump's stupid tariffs is new. Tariffs are the cause of farmers needing so much help. Are you saying this is new to you? Trump had to do the same thing last time in office. Like you, Trump did not learn.

I'm saying we have subsidize farmers since 1933 when Democrats started it..

We have been subsidizing them since the Democrats started it in 1933. Nothing new here.

Both Republican and Democratic presidents have helped the farmers.

The difference is that Trump promised they won't be affected. One of his lies.
