Am I suggesting Democrats use our justice system to go after people for just doing their job? No. But Garland should have at least DONE HIS JOB. His desire not to appear political allowed trump and several others a free pass to continue committing crimes.

Yep, that’s exactly what happened. Garland’s pussyfied approach allowed Trump to skate on a couple of those federal charges.

You should try reading the actual court ruling on this. The appeal will be next to impossible for DoJ to win because they have to argue the Constitution doesn't exist and the legislative record doesn't exist.

The Constitution requires Senate advice and consent for appointments. It doesn't allow for work arounds.
The legislative record is that the law was changed to allow consecutive appointments but then was changed back to what it is now showing legislative intent to not allow what the DoJ claims.

That leaves us with the untenable question of can a private citizen sign an indictment or can someone be retroactively hired after they act without authority. Both of those questions would be complete chaos if they allowed it. Imagine someone shoots Trump and then the assassin is retroactively made a police officer so they have immunity. No court would allow such a thing to happen but the DoJ is arguing that such retroactive appointments are just fine.

The funny part is when Judge Currie rules that the indictment is no longer valid she uses USA vs Trump and the ruling by Aileen Cannon as part of the justification that if a prosecutor is not legally appointed then they can not legally indict anyone so the indictment is invalid and never actually occurred.

Nope when you travel 225 miles from NYC to DC for a meeting that HE scheduled you to be at in HIS office and he is comfortable enough to remain seated while you are required to stand and you only get to speak when you are given permission to speak you clearly are not in charge. :laugh:
