Midterm election results question

The trial is part of the process. Successful impeachment means removal from office.

What you are claiming is akin to saying someone charged with murder is a murderer even if they are acquitted at trial.
I don't think there'll be another impeachment. The trump cult jackals are already circling. Trump's in poor health, implicated in the Epstein files, the coalition is collapsing.

It's like saying the Democrats successfully accused him of murder only to have their case tossed out at trial. That doesn't make Trump a "murder."
You're always accusing the Bidens of being corrupt and they've never been convicted or impeached for anything.

Trump has been impeached twice, indicted in both NY and GA.

Trump is an ACTUAL criminal.

The Biden's are corrupt and should have been charged. It's pretty obvious that their DOJ and the federal law enforcement like the FBI became so partisan and corrupt they weren't. Whether you accept that or not, that's how I see it. Hunter--Bagman--Biden was a totally on the take, corrupt, POS. Joke's brother was caught red handed taking political payola and walked.

I don't give a shit that Trump was "impeached twice." Both times failed miserably. I don't see the NY prosecutions so much as such but rather persecutions.

I'm no particular fan of Trump, but I know when someone's being screwed simply for who they are rather than what they've done.

If, somehow, the Democrats regain control of Congress in the mid-terms, how many times will they unsuccessfully impeach Trump? Just curious...
Well, IF they get the edge in the House AND Senate, they may give a shot or two. But I don't foresee a multitude of failed attempts (like the GOP going after Obamacare) at the taxpayers expense, as they will have MUCH to undo from the damage done by MAGA/Christo-Fascists.

The Republicans don't have to go after Obamacare, it will fail totally on its own. Even the Democrats can't spend $500 to $750 billion a year trying to prop it up using borrowed money.

History proves your first sentence dead wrong, as any poll (outside of Fox and Rasmussen) will tell you that the American people across the board DON'T WANT IT TO FAIL. Remember, the ACA was the final COMPROMISE between Obama and McConnell's GOP. So yeah, it can be fixed without throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Curious .... where do you get those figures from? And our entire gov't economy from local to federal is based on "borrowed" money (military, police, fire dept., infrastructures, etc.).

What they want and what will happen are two different things. The US cannot afford to prop up Obamacare to the tune of half-a-trillion dollars a year. It's that simple.

History is already showing the opposite, Libby.

It basically already has, Libby.

It was not a compromise. It's communism. Learn the difference between these two words.

The government is not the economy, Libby.

Obamacare covers 14% of Americans, give or take. Roughly half buy a policy in the ACA marketplace. The other half are on expanded Medicaid and getting a free ride.

How much does the federal government spend on ACA?

In 2023, federal subsidies for health insurance are estimated to be $1.8 trillion, or 7.0 percent of gross domestic product (GDP).

  • Coverage obtained through the marketplaces established by the Affordable Care Act or through the Basic Health Program—$1.1 trillion (4 percent)...

The cost of those subsidies has more than doubled since Obamacare passed and they are still rising rapidly.

Clearly, Obamacare is unaffordable. We cannot toss 7% + of our GDP to subsidize health insurance for 14% of our population. That's nothing short of insane. By extrapolation, if Obamacare covered everyone in the US, half our GDP would be eaten up subsidizing it. That is unsustainable.
The UK spends about 12% of their GDP on healthcare and its ruinous. Canada, likewise is up to almost 16% and it's devastating their economy.

I gave sources. As for government spending, it detracts from the economy more than it benefits it. You cannot tax and spend your way to wealth.

How fascist of you to ignore the majority of the American people in favor or the greedy wants a few. Interesting that, being you right wing wonks are constantly complaining about the "minorities" running everything.

I'll examine your sources.

Ahh, but the devil is always in the details:

Clearly, it can be fixed without the nonsense of turning back the clock to when insurance companies could just make up excuses or "rules" to not cover a client, or a heavy portion of the working population not being able to afford getting sick. If you're so worried about our GDP, why not ask your congressional rep to put the screws to the pentagon, which hasn't passed a budget in 5 years or so. Or you could ask them to raise the taxes on the wealthiest 1% of the nation or cut back on all those nifty tax breaks given to major corporations. Couldn't hurt.

How cheering on the mob you sound. Everything in life isn't a popularity contest and you are beyond a fool to think it should be.

:whoa: What do you call political campaigns and then elections, you jackass! We have a government by, of and for the people .... that means (for better or worse) rule by popular (and electoral) vote.

I swear, I don't know if you're on something or just incredibly dimwitted in your Maga mania.
