A successful impeachment is when the individual is impeached...whether he is later found guilty or not guilty (conviction or acquittal).

No, what I'm saying is that someone charged with a crime has still been charged, even if acquitted... unless they take steps to have the charge expunged from the record.

Unlike the Democrats, the Republicans had the good sense to know that an impeachment wasn't happening if the Democrats weren't onboard. Doing it as a futile political gesture like the Democrats and Left love, is just a worthless expenditure of energy for nothing.

No, as usual, you are lying to protect Daffy Donald. The House impeaches. The Senate does not. If the impeachment is successful, the Senate is mandated to hold a trial.

You still are stuck on stupid i see.

The impeachment is already a "Success" as it then moves to the Senate for a seperate function. That Senate function does not undue the "success" of the House impeachment if they fail to convict. It was already a "success" and the POTUS remains an Impeached president for the history books.
