If she has dirt on him, even if only corroboration, he'll deal. A lot depends upon what type of dirt it is. If only sexual, then after the Midterms is good enough. If it's something financial, like tax evasion or money laundering, then he'll deal on her terms including the timeline.

I'm not so sure. Yes, he has a big ego, but he's also very protective of his bank account. He'd always put money ahead of duty or loyalty to others.
