What Hegseth is doing is failing. The military is pretty good at weeding out shitbirds. They've had a lot of practice. Courts have sent their worst for years, in hopes we could straighten them out. It doesn't always work. For that we have "Other than Honorable" discharges, which many Red Hats claiming to be veterans can tell us all about.

Pretty sure the vast majority of red hats fall into the "I was gonna enlist but" crowd.
