The ACA will not come close to the four trillion the Big and Beautiful Bill will add to the debt, so if you aren’t concerned with that your phony outrage over the ACA is hypocritical

It forced health companies to provide services that are important to better health. All Americans benefit from that.
There are so many things that it did to help all Americans, but it cannot stand up to endless right-wing propaganda and lies.

the concept was based on lowering costs - by forcing young healthy people to get insurance or face high penalties - with those penalties and a larger pool designed to subsidize the cost to the elderly.
that stipulation was so unpopular - it was quickly gutted
so now we have this monstrosity that does nothing to lower costs. the democrats shut down government over a non-solution and merely a demand to kick the can down the road
It does a hell of a lot. Have someone read what I gave you and exp[lain it clearly, so you can understand what it does.. It was supposed to be a step toward universal healthcare, but the money of big PHARM, corporate hospitals and other medical companies stopped it. The ACA is a compromise bill that has the big footprints of corporations all over it. It is far from perfect, but for millions.It is all they have.
voters did not approve of a step to universal health care and Obama did not explain it that way, but thanks for exposing the liberal dishonesty

the individual mandate was designed to make sure individuals also had some responsibility here - but that was gutted.

The ACA is collapsing because it was bad law from the beginning. It only survived after massive subsides from the Federal government. The American people are tired of paying for other people's insurance. We are 36 Trillion in debt we don't need more debt.
