Liberty University takes ZERO federal money. No grants, no subsidies. What they do is their business. Ohio State gets federal education dollars. So, Liberty University can do what they want. I'll add this:

Tell me one Leftist leaning university where someone like Donald Trump or the late Charlie Kirk would get that sort of welcome and treatment when speaking. Do you think either could show up at say Berkeley for a speech and be met by such a crowd?

There are no "lefist leaning universities". Only universities. And universities are attacked by Republicans for 2 reasons:

One class of Republican hate their lives because they never made any friends, never had a rewarding friendship or relationship and could never measure up to their peers. It's mostly due to their laziness and ignorance. These are the racist, "Christians" who blame black and brown people for all their failures - like the Germans blamed the Jews in the 30's and 40's.

The other class of Republican, the upper class went to college and are benefiting from their education - they shit on universities now because their idiotic, ignorant and racist base eats that shit up. Also, Republicans tend to lower their taxes so it's financially beneficial to them to vote R.

This isn't about "correcting" anything. Any Presidential administration has the option to not fun things that are politically unacceptable to that administration. No, that's not true either. I expect most, the vast majority, of liberal arts majors to be both Leftists and idiots while I expect business and STEM majors to be more conservative and smarter.

When I was in college there was a, what is now called STEM, joke using calculus integration that showed as GPA went from 4.0 to 0 the function of major shifted from STEM to business to liberal arts to sports.

It implied that the "dumb" students were in liberal arts and sports.

I can remember being at the "Veterans" counter in the university bookstore with all my texts and such. Next to that counter was one for "Sports." The lady that came up to help me handed me the necessary paperwork and said, "Fill this out." She walked away. The lady at the "Sports" window was helping some athlete or another by filling the same paperwork out for him.
