Delusional Democrats in the news

Not the left's agenda.

DEMOCRATS want inequality, based on racism.
DEMOCRATS want inequality, based on 'classes'.
DEMOCRATS want indoctrination, not education.
DEMOCRATS want expensive and lousy healthcare run by the government.
DEMOCRATS want only sham elections and election fraud, REMOVING voting rights.
DEMOCRATS want to dictate wasteful EVs, wasteful dictats to 'save the purple snail (or equally obnoxious claim) to take over property rights.
DEMOCRATS want to murder children in the name of convenience, mutilate them in the name of gender choice.
DEMOCRATS want to push their sexual deviancies as "normal".
DEMOCRATS hate. They hate children, they hate women, they hate conservatives, they hate the Constitution of the United States, they hate federal law, and they hate Trump for enforcing it.

You're a liar, Jake.

Social market democracy has been working in American since about 1910, Diogenes.

The 70% of America is coming for the 30% of America that is MAGA.

More like the 15% that are Leftists want to install a dictatorship to control the other 85% just like they've done everywhere Leftists take power.

The Schumer shutdown is the only leverage Trump-hating Democrats have left, and it's weak; because it relies on Senate rules.

Senate rules can be changed with a simple majority vote.

Here’s how it works: Standing Senate rules (like the cloture threshold of 60 votes to end debate) require a two-thirds majority of senators present and voting to adopt changes (Senate Rule XXII).

On November 21, 2013, Democrats lowered the cloture threshold from 60 to 51 votes for all executive branch nominees and most judicial nominees. The vote was 52–48.

The GOP has a Senate majority of 53. Even if Rand Paul votes no,, VP Vance can break a tie.

This procedure is legitimate because the Constitution (Article I, Section 5) gives each house the power to determine its own rules, and nothing in the Constitution requires a supermajority to do so. The two-thirds requirement in Rule XXII is itself just a rule that can be changed by simple majority.

I don't want to force the issue, but a solid GOP caucus can end the filibuster on funding bills Or just this one, with a "carve out"), and like magic, the leverage the Trump-hating Democrats are so proud of is gone.

Trump-hating Democrats are in a very weak position unless the GOP caves, which I don't see happening.

For any Panicans worried about nuking the filibuster for funding bills, remember this:

If Dirty Harry's Democrats hadn't nuked the filibuster for federal judges, and Turtle Man McConnell hadn't nuked it for SCOTUS, we would not have a conservative majority in the SCOTUS today.

Govern yourselves accordingly.
