WJCL reports records show he was convicted in 2021 for stabbing a woman during a robbery at a U-Haul facility. A police report from that case details how Middleton pulled out a six-inch foldable knife, attacked a manager, and then stole a U-Haul truck before driving off.

He served two years in prison before being released on parole in December 2023, according to WJCL.

NOW ITS ....WHOOPS HE KILLED SOMEONE

When are we going to learn to keep violent people LOCKED UP NO PAROLE?

If that was the case here the kid would be alive today.....This was 100% avoidable

This was avoidable

Perhaps socioeconomic factors exacerbated by endemic and systemic racism have earned him a lifetime of privileges and a right to receive reparations.

So if you oppose the release of dangerous criminals TRUMP'S PARDONING OF ALMOST 2,000 VIOLENT J6 RIOTERS MUST REALLY PISS YOU OFF - ESPECIALLY SINCE MANY OF THEM HAVE RE-OFFENDED, INCLUDING WIFE-BEATING.

trumptards are such fucking hypocrites.

"Some January 6 rioters who benefited from the slew of pardons handed out by Trump have, once again, found themselves in legal trouble.

Just one day after federal prosecutors dismissed his Capitol riot case under a clemency order from Trump, Florida resident Daniel Ball was rearrested on federal firearm charges while still in custody, according to WUSA9.

The firearm case, originally filed in Florida in August, had been delayed due to 38-year-old Ball's detention in D.C. on charges stemming from his involvement in the Capitol riot.

"David Daniel, 37, pleaded guilty on January 8, 2025, to assaulting police officers during the January 6 Capitol attack, where he helped lead a violent push against a barricaded Senate Wing door, QC News reported.

His conviction, carrying a maximum sentence of eight years, was erased when President Trump issued sweeping pardons for January 6 participants shortly after returning to office.

Additionally, Indiana man Matthew Huttle, also pardoned by Trump, who was fatally shot by a sheriff's deputy during a traffic stop on Sunday."

Non sequitur and false dichotomy. Summarily dismissed.

MANY OF THEM HAVE RE-OFFENDED, INCLUDING WIFE-BEATING. trumptards are such fucking hypocrites.

Many?

10 individuals among the roughly 1,500 who received January 6-related pardons in Trump's second term (on January 20, 2025) have faced new criminal charges or arrests by June 2025, per a report from Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW).

None of them have been convicted of murder.

Among the roughly 1,500 January 6-related pardons issued on January 20, 2025, none of the documented post-pardon crimes (tracked by CREW as of June 2025) involved domestic violence.

WIFE-BEATING.

And u supported the Maryland Dad that beat his wife....hypocrite

This guy was sentenced to prison for 6 years for spraying cops with bear spray on J6. Then this happens:

Also, Houston man Andrew Taake was pardoned by Donald Trump for assaulting police officers during the Capitol riots, is now wanted in Texas for a 2016 charge of online solicitation of a minor, raising questions about the scope and consequences of the blanket pardon.

WIFE-BEATING.

And u supported the Maryland Dad that beat his wife....hypocrite
And now you're fucking lying. I support the beating or bullying of no one trumptard. All you have is "TDS" and lies. Either you support justice for crimes or you don't. And you fucking don't!

No one but a Governor or a Pres can control when a pardon is or is not given

People can control the parole system and keep people locked up

So what? Has nothing to do with what this thread is about. Do you support violent criminals being brought to justice or not?

Yes, and trump didn't have to pardon the J6 rioters, many who have re-offended, some of them fatally.

So, I'll ask you one last time: Do you support justice for violent offenders or not?

Our resident sheet wearing wonk Vole is on his usual bicycle, dear readers. I can envision him sitting on his flabby ass all day combing the net for any crimes that involve black folk .... a perk if the victim is white.

Of course, he ignores any crimes committed by folks who look just like him. Like the daily plethora of Caucasian right wing/Maga religious folk getting busted listed on 'X', or the numerous Jan. 6th criminals that Trump-icana pardoned that committed new crimes. But Vole sees the world through the eye slits of a pointy hood....so much more the pity.

How long do you propose keeping someone locked up for stabbing someone? For life?

In Georgia, the statutory penalties for these offenses are governed by the Official Code of Georgia Annotated (OCGA). Note that a knife is considered a deadly weapon (or an object likely to cause serious bodily injury when used offensively), so aggravated assault with a knife falls under the standard aggravated assault provisions. Attempted murder is not a separate crime but is charged as criminal attempt to commit murder. Penalties can vary based on factors like the victim's age/status, prior convictions, or aggravating circumstances, but the standard ranges are as follows: Aggravated Assault with a Knife (OCGA § 16-5-21) This is a felony. The standard penalty is imprisonment for not less than 1 year nor more than 20 years.

Armed Robbery (OCGA § 16-8-41): This is a felony (use of an offensive weapon, including a knife, during robbery). Penalty: imprisonment for life, or imprisonment for not less than 10 years nor more than 20 years. In practice, the death penalty is no longer imposed for armed robbery (per U.S. Supreme Court rulings when no death occurs), but a minimum of 10 years in prison is mandatory, with no parole eligibility for the first 10 years in many cases.

Attempted Murder: There is no standalone "attempted murder" statute; it is prosecuted as criminal attempt to commit murder (OCGA § 16-4-1 combined with OCGA § 16-5-1 for murder). Under OCGA § 16-4-6(a), criminal attempt to commit a crime punishable by death or life imprisonment is punishable by imprisonment for not less than 1 year nor more than 30 years.

These are the statutory ranges upon conviction. Actual sentences are determined by a judge (or jury in some cases) and may include fines, probation (rare for these serious offenses), or consecutive sentencing if multiple charges are involved. Georgia classifies armed robbery as one of the "seven deadly sins" (serious violent felonies), triggering mandatory minimums and restricted parole for repeat offenders. Defenses (e.g., self-defense) or plea negotiations can reduce charges or sentences.

I am a bigger guy, who used to be a boxer and a bouncer. I could probably win most fights I got into, but I am careful not to go around starting fights for this very reason. I am sure that kid thought he was attacking an easy mark, but it turned out to be a big mistake.

What is with these white rural kids attacking people?
